I think were going to see great things from this kid, his skills match his confidence and i think hes going to fit in as a Chelsea legend oneday. Also took my son down to Cobham last week and he was the first one over to sign my boys shirt.

My first ever game was a night match against Norwich way back when in around 85, if my memory serves me it was Mick Shannons last game for them and i think they got relagated that season, but it didnt stop them from beating the NOT SO MIGHTY Blues. Ever since then ive had a could careless attitude when we play the Canaries. The teams it burns me to lose against is " in no order " Man City which goes back to the old 2nd division title chase , Middlesboro because of an incident with their supporters at the second Full Members Cup final thanks to Dorigo for making that day a happy one, then the obvious teams Utd, Spuds etc etc. I was about to to type that it wouldnt hurt to let the little argentine from Barca get a goal against us once in a while, but seeing the season hasnt started yet ill keep that to myself FOR NOW.

Congrats to J.T for beating this farce of a court case. This whole racism thing has been blown up alot more than it should ever have been, but somehow i get the feeling that we will see more and more of this in the future. If it was ok for Ferdinand to make a personal attack on J.T, then it was well within J.T's rights to retaliate, but once BITTER Rio started blowing in his brothers ear we knew to expect the worst. Yeh possibly you are correct on the Romeu deal, i wasnt 100% certain, and hope i didnt sound that way. He looks a good prospect, but also makes me wonder what Barca know about him that we dont, they dont seem to be a team that makes a habit of letting top draw players leave. Opens the floodgates for a list of players that Barca have let leave.

Have been playing Football Manger Games since the 80's and love how realistic they have become over the years, FM 2012 is a great game, and anyone who hasnt tried it should. I always start with Chelsea, it seems wrong to be anyone else. To answer Scott Harris, no you dont need to be connected to the internet to play the game , infact you dont need internet connection at all, unless you want to play online leagues. Maybe a good idea for next season a forum based online league??? WHOS SP*URS?

I was Mascot back in the 80's , 86 to be exact, not mentioning the game as the photo is quite unflattering. Had my picture taken with Kerry Dixon and Johnny B before the game, Bumstead was a family friend at the time and a really nice person, Kerry promised me a goal and he scored within 2 mins of kick off. I then met Kerry many years later in a pub in Hertfordshire that he was managing and he wasnt exactly the Hero that i remembered from my childhood. " ohwell we all have off days i guess " And mid season this year my son went to Cobham with my Dad. J.T and Super Frank stopped their motors and had photos done with him, and most of the squad signed his shirt aswell. Only disapointment was Drogba who totally blanked him, but seeing what THE DROG done in Munich i think my boy has nearly forgiven him. Also met The Cat just before the Wigan FA Cup game this season and he was a perfect gent, stopping for photos for anyone who asked him.

I thought my first post should be an introduction/thanks for a great looking forum so here goes. Im a lifelong Chelsea supporter, 38 years to be exact, and have now passed the legacy down to my son. Unlike me all he has known is goodtimes, but i wont be bitter We dont get to many games, but i took him to the FA Cup Final this season, managed to get him a ticket, i waited outside " insert female forum members saying ahhhhh " Obviously the most enjoyable part of the season was the Champions League Final that we watched watch at home with my Dad, another generation of Chelsea support. Heres looking forward to the new season already, and interacting with what looks to be a great forum. Footnote : ill be passing on meeting G4 @ Waterloo.
