Fair enough. I suppose I was only referring to the last several months. Can't really blame him too much under Scolari though to be fair. If one of the best strikers in the world wants to sign a new contract with us and he seems to have a decent attitude (as he has lately), then I would love to have him back.

Not not Guus, DROGBA! If what I have been reading is correct, and Drogba wants to sign a new contract...I think we would be mad to sell him off. With Drogba and Anelka in the squad, all we need is one more striker and another winger and we are set. For the past couple seasons Drogba has publically moaned about leaving, and has ended up staying. This season I haven't heard one pip from the man. Please Roman, sign him up. :D

I dunno g4, when it comes down to strikers...good goalscoring abilities has to be the top attribute. Maybe it's a long run thing, but if Anelka can continue to get the goals like he did this year, I would rate him higher than any other striker in England.
