I love the man as much as any of us but I wouldn't want him back and not just because it would ruin what is probably the greatest send-off in sports history. Lots of people on here have posted how they don't want a new signing to stall Lukaku's development but this signing would be precisely that. If he came back and wasn't the bulldozer we all loved then it would tarnish his legend. He did everything he could have done with us and I would rather remember him for Munich than anything lesser.

The only way I would accept him here would be that before our first home game, he goes down on his knees in front of Ivanovic and begs forgiveness in front of everyone and apologizes.
