The late 80s and early 90s we were not banned. 3 of us tried hitching it to Man City when we were banned, we got as far as Luton and gave it up. It was freezing cold as well. I think we lost 6-2.

I remember that Boro game was played on a boiling hot day, when I got home I found the front of my house was decorated red and white ( I found out it was Spurs fans that I know).

And some people said Chelsea took the North Bank that day, I think not, I was there and the Chelsea fans were attacked in the clock end, and the next season it was even worse.

Chelsea took more up north or to the midlands than they ever did to west ham, so how does that work out?

Arsenal fans reckon this was a 'cult' game for Chelsea and can't fathom out why.

I was standing in the North Bank that day and there were a few Chelsea in there but got escorted out to the clock end and were not there in any massive group.

you can replace the word "some" with "a lot". Chelsea in the early seventies were a bit of an easy touch in London, home and away.

the reason being that they were all locked out, but seeing that not many used to turn up there in previous years, no suprise really. How is it then that they would take more to Coventry for example than Arsenal, Spurs or West Ham?

The worst was Tottenham in 75, maybe that was a bit of a turning point as after that you could guarantee that Chelsea would show up.

Chelsea only once went in the park lane in the game after the cup final, after that were always in the paxton.spurs never once appeared in the shed. Arsenal took it regulary from 69 onwards till the paint come out.west ham always in the shed and chelsea never went to west ham,

West Ham in the 70s untouchable, Arsenal up to 74 formidable, Spurs away where they always had a go at you in the Paxton not bad. We were pretty piss poor in London in the early 70s despite the hype.

1976 at Orient

I remember when Spurs teamed up with West Ham at Orient in 76, not too many left of them at the end of the game though.

Some of the football played on that pitch at Wembley was brilliant, and I don't think that we was as outplayed as everybody said we were. I was lucky enough to be at both games.

The running of the team should be left to Geoff Hurst? Are they sure about that?

And erm TORRES has scored some important goals for us, the best being against Barcelona when even the referee could not cheat in that one and add on more injury time so they could score TWO goals.
