February 15, 200916 yr Cheers Jack, was looking for something to watch. Jose's 1 up, but always a pleasure to watch Kaka, Pato and co.
February 15, 200916 yr HOw the linesman didn't spot the fact tht Adriano put the ball in with his arm is beyond me.
February 15, 200916 yr Indeed, loz, even I saw that in real time. Great match though, just when you think Milan are going to score, Inter put 2 in.
February 15, 200916 yr Shame the commentary is about 5 seconds ahead of the picture :P I noticed that, thought it was just my tele.
February 16, 200916 yr HOw the linesman didn't spot the fact tht Adriano put the ball in with his arm is beyond me. yea it was rediculous but according to the bbc at half time, the goal should have stood!!!!!!!!!!!! sky have the only decent pundits around ronaldinho was sensational. ac lost 2-1 but he was still the stand out player. well him and pato (how did ac lose?)
February 16, 200916 yr Inter should have won the match more easily than they ended up doing. Milan played some pretty football but Inter had most of the better chances. Adriano's goal was very fortunate. It clearly wasn't a deliberate handball but it did still go in off his arm and should have been disallowed. On the other hand, how Ambrossini wasn't sent off is a mystery too. Milan couldn't handle Ibrahimovich or Adriano. It was also interesting to see Inter still going for a 3rd goal once Milan got one back. Maicon dosn't seem to have the same restrictions about crossing the halfway line. However, in the last ten minutes, we saw some sound tactical substitutions designed to hold on to the 2-1 lead. I think Man U will have a tough time in the CL.

February 16, 200916 yr I didnt see the game, but caught the highlights and looked back over the commentary. Inter havent looked very impressive for most of the year, but I think they are starting to pull together at just the right moment now that the CL is about to return. The fact that they have so many capable goalscoring weapons is a scary proposition for anyone. Also, I think Adriano is the ultimate 'confidence' player, and it strikes me that he is well and truly on the road back to redemption. Then again, with Jose in charge there it was either going to be back to his best or finished in an Inter shirt. Thank god its the former for the sake of football. Also, cant believe it was Maldini's last derby. Heard he got a standing ovation from the Interistas as he left the pitch. Im sure it wont be the same fixture without him Edited February 16, 200916 yr by TheWestwayWonder

February 16, 200916 yr lol maldini retires every year. he'll be back Nah mate, they'll get Ballack to replace him. :D
February 16, 200916 yr between the Milan derby and the NBA basketball All-Star game yesterday (final score was like 146- 119), I literally saw NO defense the entire day. certainly an entertaining match, and I was on the edge of my seat just about the entire second half, but it was almost as if each team had an agreement to allow the other team to attack for 1 minute before it would take the ball and attack on its own. in Italy you get so much time on the ball, it allows everyone space to make nice moves and fancy dribbling. again, fun to watch, but horribly poor defending.
February 17, 200916 yr Nah mate, they'll get Ballack to replace him. ;) Certainly - they will want to bring down the average age of their squad.
February 17, 200916 yr Certainly - they will want to bring down the average age of their squad. And he will likely be playing for 10 more years thanks to that secret lab under the training pitch in Milan.
February 17, 200916 yr And he will likely be playing for 10 more years thanks to that secret lab under the training pitch in Milan. Whatever it is they do there, it really is amazing. They should move for Rosicky (remember him anyone?) so that I can stop hating him
February 17, 200916 yr And he will likely be playing for 10 more years thanks to that secret lab under the training pitch in Milan. Isn't that the place where they filmed Cocoon? Certainly seems to produce the same results.
