Had some great chats with Jason Cundy ( who was wrecked as much as me !) and Super Kenny Monkou, though everyone was in the dark about our next manager, Peter Kenyon did let it slip to my fiance' that we were looking at signing Zirchov and Dzagoev.

Typical Peter, couldn't keep his mouth shut in the presence of a gorgeous girl :)

Great news! Both Dzagoev and Zhirkov looks quality to me, and if we get Dzeko on top of that i think we are going to give United a real fight for the titles next season. J.Cole Essien Lampard Zhirkov Dzeko Anelka/Drogba looks good to me. We have to best keeper and defence in the league so no point to buy new players in those positions.

After reading Star's post I went to Wikipedia and Youtube to check who this Dzagoev is. Looks pretty promising. Dives a bit but looks really mobile and proactive on the pitch. Born 1990.

His favourite team is Chelsea and one of his favorite players Lampard..well it is from Wiki but promising news if true.

Not sure how soon he would break into our midfield but if we are to kick out older players maybe he would even play next season, who knows.

Zhirkov would fit to our team perfectly. He would compete against Malouda for the left wing spot and could cover for Ashley when needed. Would be a smart buy from us.

I must be the only fan that doesn't rate Joe Cole; IMO we need 2 wingers and I think Frank is getting on a bit so Dzagoev with 15-20 mind here & there would be the perfect replacement in a couple of seasons.

Joe Cole himself said in an interview recently that he wants to shift to the center and do the creative work along with Lamps. Remember he used to play center attacking earlier in his career. In any case, I too feel we need two wingers.

i'd agree with you on that but surely not as a player. he doesn't have the pace to play on the wing. just behind the striker would be his best position

I don't rate him as a player; I know majority of the fans would diasgree with this but for a player with an abundance of skill and ability, he has underachieved. In a perfect world he would be an impact sub at best and I would put him in the same category with Park, Giggs, Benayoun.

I believe the only reason we tend to rate him so high is because we have players like Kalou, Malouda & Ballack but imagine him in a Barca or Man U team & you will get my drift.

But hey it is my opinion!

Dzagoev being looked at is something that makes me very happy. With his age, he has got to be seen as an eventual replacement for Frank, and getting him in early, to watch Lamps everyday can only help his development.

Never heard of this Dzageov personally, but it seems that he's highly rated on here, so I'll welcome him with open arms :)

Zhirkov, though, I AM excited about! Very pacy/tricky winger that we need. Come on Kenyon!! ..... never thought I'd say that...
