Let's say Chelsea is able to sign players this summer, what are the realistic chances Carlo can get Pato to come to Chelsea. Pato seems to want to come and AC Milan are looking to make changes again. Getting him in January won't happen, but summer seems like a possibility. I think this would be a perfect move if it could be made. He is better than Aguero and will continue to get better. If you're saying, "what about sturridge and borini." wouldn't you want Pato before those two? Pato is just as young and much much better.

I don't know how big the chances are, but I think if he will leave AC Milan, we have the biggest chances of getting him.

Pato is my prefered option between him and Aguero. He is a bit younger, been playing better than Kun this season and Carletto knows him already, so the chances of him failing is smaller. Plus he wil probably not be demanding as big wages as Aguero.

Same...then again, I read that Arsenal want Balotelli....

I want him too, and I think he'd be a little cheaper than Kun

A little cheaper and a lot more arrogant. He is still a teenager yet he is complaining that he is not a regular for italy.

Yes, that's true...but he's being paid 25,000 a week at Inter (apparantly). He would cost less in transfer fees, and a lot less in wages...considering Kun is wanting about 200,000 I think.

Anyway, I have faith Ancelloti could knock the arrogance out of him.

I agree, Pato would be better than Aguero. He can play different positions as well.

You don't think Aguero can?

Aguero can play on the wings, as a second striker, at the tip of the diamond as well. Pato is very good as a striker, and possibly a better out and out striker than Aguero, however Aguero has a bit more grit and hard work about him and is far better at making chances for others.

How do we know that aguero is looking for 200k a week just cause its in the papers thats just fantasy stuff. He'll be on the same wages as lampard anelka(when he signs a new deal) drogba if he joins slightly behind JT.

Meh, I was just stating the sort of wages that have been thrown around in all the places I've read. Most of them talk about the tax rate issues and what not.

Besides, you seem to still be missing that the main point I'm trying to get through is that overall, Balotelli would be cheaper, and I don't think his ego is unmanageable.

I agree that Aguero can play different postions, but Pato has shown that he can play those postions well. Another thing to think about is size. The Premier League is much more rough than the other leagues. Pato is 5'11" and Aguero is 5'7". Pato is much bigger. He would hold up a lot better.

Aguero might be smaller, but he has shown in La Liga that he is quite strong.

I am not saying that Aguero is not a great player. He is for sure. I would be happy if chelsea signed him. He would be a great option after drogba. I am saying that Pato would be a better option. He is younger and more established. He fits the system that Carlo has put in. I also think Pato would stay longer than Aguero might. Aguero seems to love La Liga and may want to go back at some point.

How is he more established? Aguero is playing in a more competitive league, and playing extremely well. At times carrying the rest of his team, who have been woeful this year. Aguero has been their only shining light. As good as Pato is, you could not say that about him. Aguero is a superior player to Pato, and would be by far the better option for Chelsea.

Personally i think Aguero is a better player at the moment but i think Pato has more talent than Aguero and if Pato shines he will be a far better player than Aguero in my opinion. It all depends if Pato shows off is talents.

However it also does depend on what league your in, Aguero could flop in the prem so could Pato so we will never know who is better until both of them play in the Prem.

But if i had too choose if we had the chance to get either, hands down it would be Pato( but thats my opinion )

Personally, I think Pato is very overrated.

It's Seria A aswell where he plays his football, I rate the Spl higher.

No league is overated, Serie A is a very tactical league but the clubs always lose thier stars which affects the league. Kaka, Ibra, Ronaldo(real), Zidane, Sheva all came from Serie A and played well there. Your theory basically says something like so Zidane came from Serie A he must be overated!

No league is overated, it's just different leagues have different styles.

Pato could come over hear and fail so could Aguero, the advantage is that they have age on thier side. Lampard could of gone to Inter when he had the chance and could of easily become a flop.

I rate Aguero a little higher then Pato. But both would be great. I agree with you that Pato would be a little cheaper probably, another plus is that Carlo would know how to use him. I really think that we should sign a new striker in winter. Kalou as the only real back-up is just not enough. Borini and Sturridge arent ready yet to help out in big matches.

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted to being an admirer of Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli.

The youngster's future in Italy has been the subject of much debate over recent weeks, with Jose Mourinho culling him from his squad following a breach of club discipline.

That has led to reports suggesting Inter may be willing to part with the 19-year-old during the January transfer.

Premier League giants Arsenal have already been strongly linked with a New Year move, while numerous other clubs would be willing to take a chance on the talented teenager.

Handle

Chelsea could be among those leading the hunt, with Ancelotti revealing that he would have no issue working with the powerful frontman - providing he displays the maturity required to be a world class performer.

"I'd take a player like Balotelli," the Blues boss said in La Stampa.

"I like him and with me he would always play.

"But I don't know how easy he is to handle. If he is really undisciplined, Mourinho is right to punish him. But I hope he doesn't waste his talent."

Between Pato and Balotelli I would take Pato everyday of the week, even if he would cost ten times more I'd still take him.

Balotelli has potential, yes, but he's a first class c*nt. I can't stand him and if he ever puts on a Chelsea shirt I'll consider us playing with 10 men on the pitch.

When I said I want Balotelli, it's with the hope that we could knock the arrogance out of him. I agree we don't want a disruptive influence.

I also see that we shouldn't be spending 60 mil, and 150k wages on a potential star when we could potentiall spend half that. I'm worried about the financial stability of Chelsea...I would preferably like the club to increase sustainability in the future.

But if money wasn't an issue at all...Pato would be my choice over both Aguero and Balotelli. If money wasn't an issue, I'd pay over 200million euros for Messi, I'd buy Lloris to fight Cech for first team keeper duties, I'd buy Torres for however much he cost....ahhhhhh money.

If we can get Pato for 40mil or so, I wouldn't be too upset at that I suppose. Balotelli would have to end up being a lot cheaper than that to make him worth it...I just mentioned that he would be a good option if we had to look at slightly cheaper alternatives.
