Posted January 28, 201015 yr Bout time, I wonder what Fergie will have tosay, Nice extra game ban as well for whingeing. Maybe they should have watched him last night when he tried it again.
January 28, 201015 yr EXCELLENT. I didnt see his incident last night, but at the very least the club should be in trouble over its fans. Arsenal lose Vermalen and Man Utd lose Ferdinand for Sunday. Should be quite a game, hopefully laden with redcards and sloppy goals by the way chippy, love the title, nicely done :D Edited January 28, 201015 yr by TheWestwayWonder
January 28, 201015 yr Well played FA. Nice to see you've found some b*llocks. Keep it up. Cant wait to see the pathetic excuses United fans come out with. One of the most obvious elbows I have ever seen in football. Edited January 28, 201015 yr by BlueDay
January 28, 201015 yr Author by the way chippy, love the title, nicely done :D Wouldn't surprise me if the Sun come up with something similar Tomorrow :D I liked the reasoning for the extra game ban..his appeal was frivolous :D
January 28, 201015 yr guys guys guys, you got it all wrong! Poor Rio here is the victim! HE WAS GETTIN WRASSLED! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...ppeals-ban.html Hope they tack on another few games for the elbow he gave Tevez. Absolutely brilliant last night when Bellamy told him " you're past it you c*nt". man. I love the mouths on these Irish/Welsh fire crackers hahaha
January 28, 201015 yr Stunning, but nonetheless brilliant. Lets just hope this is the first step to actually making the right decisions.
January 28, 201015 yr Wonderful, of all United players i f***in hate him. f**king brilliant, cant stand the spitty twat. hate the way he celebrates every f**king goal like he was massively involved, even if he hasnt touchedf the f**king thing. tosser.
January 28, 201015 yr Maybe they should have watched him last night when he tried it again. In fairness, that wasn't on purpose, Shauny Wright running right along side him was never going to end well for Shauny. Brilliant result though, he deservs every last second of it.
January 28, 201015 yr Author In fairness, that wasn't on purpose, Shauny Wright running right along side him was never going to end well for Shauny.Brilliant result though, he deservs every last second of it. In Fairness..I don't think we should be bringing fairness in to it, if we have to though I feel it would have been quite fair if he was banned for the next three seasons
January 29, 201015 yr Glad to see FA take some action against Manure for once. Hope this is just the start of endless bans and censors given to these arrogant bunch of f**king tossers.
January 29, 201015 yr SAF knew there was no chance with the appeal but such was the importance of securing the Manchester bragging rights it was a risk he was prepared to take. Realistically the Carling Cup is their best chance of winning silverware this season the way they're playing at the moment.
January 29, 201015 yr Ferdinand was just back from injury and its not too bad a thing for him to get to complete fitness in the ban period. Vidic will be back this weekend and Evans is already a decent backup so it was a calculated risk. I hope it backfires, though!
January 29, 201015 yr Druggie knobhead. He's had plenty of practice sitting on the sidelines this season already, he'll be fine. Great to see the FA having some balls for once.
January 29, 201015 yr Wonderful, of all United players i f***in hate him. I hate f***in all of them! Glad the FA have shown some balls for once.
February 1, 201015 yr Author Ferguson thinks he can overturn the extra match Ban...hope they stick another one on top. Exclusive: Manchester United Launch Another Appeal over Rio Ferdinand Ban http://football.fanhouse.co.uk/2010/02/01/...-ferdinand-ban/ Jeremy Cross Sir Alex Ferguson is refusing to back down in his latest dispute with the FA over Rio Ferdinand's suspension. FanHouse can reveal that the Manchester United manager has decided to lodge an appeal over the decison to ban his defender for four games, jeopardising Ferdinand's availability for this month's Carling Cup final. Ferdinand was ruled out for four games by the FA last week after being found guilty of violent conduct against Hull at Old Trafford. Ferdinand pleaded not guilty to the charge, which allowed him to play in last week's Carling Cup semi-final win over Manchester City. But the plea backfired when FA officials found him guilty of elbowing Craig Fagan in the face and decided to add an extra game to the mandatory three match ban. The FA's decision left Ferguson fuming and, after consulting the club's disciplinary experts over the weekend, he has decided to lodge an appeal against the extra game handed down to Ferdinand. Ferguson believes the decision should be overturned and that three games is sufficient for the offence in question. But should United's appeal fail then the FA have the power to extend Ferdinand's ban further to five games, which would rule the centre back out of his side's Wembley showpiece against Aston Villa on Sunday, February 28. It leaves us to draw two conclusions, Either Ferguson believes United can overcome Villa and win the first silverware of the season without him, or he is so angry with the FA that he has taken it upon himself to challenge them as a matter of principle? Only Ferguson knows the answer to this question but one thing is for certain, Ferdinand now faces an anxious wait to discover if he will be denied the chance to take part in a major domestic final. United have notified the FA of their decision this morning and will lodge the relevant papers by 6pm on Tuesday. A date for a hearing will be set for later this month.
February 2, 201015 yr The guy does not know when to give in. Its an admirable effort but clearly, and as TV clips showed, Feriband clearly struck the Hull City player in that game. Hopefully the FA will stand by the ban that they gave. However, the Gooners managed to get Eduardo's banned overturned so anything is possible, which is really annoying IMO
February 2, 201015 yr Ferguson thinks he can overturn the extra match Ban...hope they stick another one on top. I cant believe they have the temerity to appeal again. Adding another game is the ideal scenario but I think its just as likely the FA cave and reduce it to 3
February 2, 201015 yr He can always point to the FA's precedent of doing sod all about a player throwing a vicious elbow at a Stoke player last season. Something tells me the beneficiary of that outrageous leniency might just have been a key Manure player.
