Terrace Taunts

Featured Replies

Heard this in the pub before Man U at home about 10 years ago but never heard it since.

Run Beckham, run Beckham, run run run.

Your mrs takes it up the bum bum bum.

She's had Andy Cole, right up her arsehole,

So run Beckham run Beckham run run run.

Childish I know, made me chuckle at the time though!

I heard a story about that song. After we'd beaten them at home one time, some lads I know from New Malden. we're having a beer in their local later on that night, and started singing the above song- just a bit of drunken revelry. Next thing they're surrounded by a load of travellers who happened to be in the same boozer- white vests, Beddington Lane dealer boots the lot.

They managed to persuade the gypsies the chant weren't directed at them, and escaped a hiding by the skin of their teeth

The man utd song  should be they came down to Chelsea in 69 they filled up the north stand the shed and both sides as the song is about the European cup what they won in 68 hence they came down the next year in 69,more of a pub song or sang on a coach rather than in the ground. Normally one person stood up and sang it and the rest joined in at the end  . second verse is

after bobby outjumped the rest " the Stretford end shouted but I never did and the 3rd was scored by young brian kidd. last verse is

" utd fans cried out they cried out for more and bobby obliged by making it 4 the team to remember the team to recall is the great man utd the pride of them all. got the lines a bit mixed up mate and wrong year.

Went to the Brighton v Leeds a couple of weeks ago...Albion fans singing:

'Jimmy Saville, he could be your Dad!'

And

'Jimmy Saville, he's one of your own!'

We played Coventry a few of years ago at their place in the FA Cup....some great taunts about The Tesco Boys....

Memory ain't what it was...anyone remember the taunts??

There were Tesco advertising hoardings all over the place....
