Rangers / Celtic

What a finish!

Low on quality but of course high on noise , atmosphere and passion. Nothing comes close.

Look on Keanes face is magnificent.

Sewn up back to back titles IMO

JNot sure if anyone watched it but those of you interested (i.e. BJd, Bluebeard etc) that is the Scottish title over. Rangers won 1-0 when Edu bundled the ball over the line with about 5 seconds of injury time left.

To be fair over the 90 minutes Rangers probably shaded the game however they got a lot of help from the man in the middle today. Scott Brown received a straight red card which was ridiculously harsh (although there is a degree of poetic justice about that as Brown spends game after game simply running around committing more fouls than a hen psychiatrist). On the other hand Bougherra who was booked in the 1st half then spent the rest of the game fouling everything that moved but miraculously lasted the 90 minutes.

Rangers 10 points clear with a game in hand now. Mowbray may want to start packing his bags.

i see the Celtic fans could nt respect the minute silence for past german keeper neef apparently sky loweredthe volume but their vile songs could be heard on radio comentry

cheered me up a little after yesterday...couldn't help but feel chelsea should be in a similarly strong position in the title race down here...if we miss out this year it will feel the worst of the lot

Yesss, what an ending that was there. Exciting match all around really. You'd think the Celtic fans would have learned after they interrupted a silence before...but then again maybe it should have just been expected

What an atmopsphere it was yesterday and i couldn't think of a better way to get it up they scumbags. The falklands war hero Simon Weston was on the park at half time as the celtic fans displayed argentina flags and strips, disgusting behaviour. But i think that's it now after the result yesterday. ;)

I watched it and gave up after about 60 minutes, I thought it was absolutely dire.

not really the point of the thread

could you imagine Wenger managing in that league, he would have a mental breakdown after 2 games with the tackles. saying that, it was never a red card and that Lafferty is a proper little w**ker.

Not the first time he has been guilty of excessive play acting (although this time was not nearly as blatant as last time).

A footballer he isn't, useful for reaching things on the top shelf he is.

The team-talk in the Rangers dressingroom minutes before the Old Firm game.

‘Right lads, 110 per cent commitment against these dirty beggin’ Fenian b******s. Remember they’re all tattie-munching bogtrotters fae Ireland. I don’t care if you kick, punch or head-butt your way to victory.

‘Good luck – and God save the Queen.’

“At which point Walter Smith walked in and says, ‘thanks ref, I’ll take it from here’.â€

It may have been boring from a neutrals point of view, but what a time to get a goal, 40 seconds to go, we couldn't of timed it any better.

I'd rather beat them 1-0 with a scrappy goal, than hammer them 4 or 5 nil, makes it so much sweeter, and to see Ibrox erupt in the fashion it did, was a moment I will savour from the rest of my days.

Jobbie Keane is over-rated vastly up here, I remember Celtic fans on Sky Sports News saying, "This signing has just won us the league so it huz." I wonder what there excuses are now, we're sitting 13 points clear... and sending that c**t back down to Spurs with nothing!

Mowbray Must Stay! ;)
