Which games will you be watching ? Gotta be the frogs v S/A and Nigeria v south korea for me.

Not the most inspiring of line up's today.

At least there are no more 12.30 kick offs, so I should get a bit more work done.

I hear that some of the french players are going to boycott the match so the french team selection could be interesting.

You might want to put a couple of quid on a draw between Uruguay and Mexico - but don't expect much in the way of odds.

Not sure which games I'll watch. I usually watch France, since we have some Chelsea players there, but now Anelka is gone I'm not so sure. Besides, it will be interesting to see how Mexico and Uruguay play their game knowing a draw would put them both through to the next round. They play nice football as well.

As for the later games I'll have to fight with my mom for the big television, because I wanna watch Nigeria seeing they have a swedish manager and my mom want to see Argentina play because they have her favourite little superstar (I call him t*at) - Messi.

Rather bizarrely, it appears that the 3rd round of group matches will be shared by ITV and BBC on a group by group basis. I'd assumed that one match would be on the Beeb and the other on ITV. Doesn't make too much difference except one match will not be in HD. And tomorrow it appears that the BBC aren't bothering with the USA v. Algeria match at all (unless it will be on the red button)

Gotta say - I'm with your Mum on this one Moos. Argentina are a joy to watch whereas Nigeria v South Korea has to be one of the most missable games of the whole tournament!

On the bright side, at least Mikel isn't playing for them!

Either player power from Ribery has won again or Malouda was one of the chief instigators of yesterdays shenanigans, because he isn't in the first team, and he certainly should be.

Gorcuff sent off for France. It's actually gotten worse for them.

Any chance South Africa puts in four or five against them an qualifies actually?

Very dubious decision by the ref - Gourcuff just went for the ball and had no intention of hitting the South African player. But anyhow, that's France tournament there and then.

Feel bad for Gourcuff, but not for the French team. Not after the "hand of frog" or whatever they called it.

The fans, though, have got to be feeling like sh*t. They seemed embarrassed of how they got into this world cup. I bet they didnt see it getting so much worse.

Ech... France is losing... What a pity...

It's a pretty impressive feat that they are the most hated country at a tournament that features North Korea.

That loud sucking sound you hear is Mexico getting pulled into the French vortex. Can South Africa pull this off? Fasten your seatbelats.

If these scores hold in Group B, Greece advances!

Opa! GO GREECE!

Must admit I am rapidly running out of desire to see Greece get anything but thrashed. They are doing everything in their power to ruin this game and how the ref hasn't started pulling multiple yellow cards out is beyond me. I accept entirely that it would be suicide if Greece tried to take on Argentina by playing flowing football but they are taking cynical football to an embarassing level now.

You do what you have to do - Greece should be getting murdered by now, but they are hanging in it. Some amazing saves by the keeper, and equally impressive tackles on the defense.

Besides, the worse Argentina does, the lower Aguero's price eh? ;)

I did make a silly bet that if Greece advances to the 2nd round, I won't shave my face for a year. So...frankly I wouldn't mind if Greece lost :laugh2:
