Found this game from 1980/81 v Cambridge. Dunno if its been posted.

Great footage & thanks for posting it erksblue.

Looking back,I can't help but think players such as Micky Droy & Johnny B really did deserve more success/medals than they ended up with,(& Colin Pates to).

I guess in life, you don't always get what you deserve.

They were still great Chelsea players though & great servants for the club in a very, very difficult time, personally, I have a lot of respect for these unsung hero's.

Thats better for first game at The Bridge 84/85.

I was 'lucky' enough to be at this game & if truth were told, manure outplayed us for most of the game & deserved their win.

I say lucky because at a attendance of just over 42,000 it was the largest crowd i've ever been part of at Stamford Bridge & I was fortunate to get in.

There were thousands locked outside because at that time I guess, the club just weren't used to such large numbers of 'floating' supporters!.

Could have easily been 50,000 thousand in the ground that day.

Bobby Moore jogging along the beach with England fans before the game against Germany in the 1982 World Cup in Spain.

"Come on lads, the jewellers is open !"

Very good that!,but I don't think it was ever proven to be honest.

Still think Bobby Moore was a legend though,a true Lion of England. (RIP).

I just wish there was more like him wearing the England shirt.

My old man rates , Bobby Moore as the best British defender he's ever seen play.
