March 24, 201214 yr Just before I go to work 1976-77 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFQg0cKy6Ng http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_QKhXggqQQ Just want to see these games again. My Chelsea when I was getting into football aged about 10.
March 26, 201214 yr Found this game from 1980/81 v Cambridge. Dunno if its been posted. Great footage & thanks for posting it erksblue. Looking back,I can't help but think players such as Micky Droy & Johnny B really did deserve more success/medals than they ended up with,(& Colin Pates to). I guess in life, you don't always get what you deserve. They were still great Chelsea players though & great servants for the club in a very, very difficult time, personally, I have a lot of respect for these unsung hero's.
March 26, 201214 yr Two games v Man Utd from mid 80s. A defeat at home then a win away . Defintely one of kerry's finest away performances.
March 26, 201214 yr Thats better for first game at The Bridge 84/85. I was 'lucky' enough to be at this game & if truth were told, manure outplayed us for most of the game & deserved their win. I say lucky because at a attendance of just over 42,000 it was the largest crowd i've ever been part of at Stamford Bridge & I was fortunate to get in. There were thousands locked outside because at that time I guess, the club just weren't used to such large numbers of 'floating' supporters!. Could have easily been 50,000 thousand in the ground that day.
March 28, 201214 yr Defintely one of kerry's finest away performances. Agreed but then I'm a Kerry Dixon fan.
May 4, 201214 yr Come on Chelsea. Thought this was fitting as tomrrow is FA Cup Final day and we're in it.

May 14, 201214 yr "Come on lads, the jewellers is open !" Very good that!,but I don't think it was ever proven to be honest. Still think Bobby Moore was a legend though,a true Lion of England. (RIP). I just wish there was more like him wearing the England shirt.
