June 15, 201114 yr I thought being sick in the back of a transit was about par for the course for Gloria! Particularly on a Monday! The owner of that club is a mentalist, though a rich mentalist it seems.
June 15, 201114 yr Archaic maybe. So how long before the "Ruud to return to Chlesea?" rumors start? You mean there's a chance that a Dutch coach who has a history of working in Russia might somehow show up on Roman's radar? In all honesty, I've got a bit of a soft-spot for Ruud and if Guus insists on being DoF rather than manager then I think we could do a lot worse.
June 15, 201114 yr Gullit has said he's very tired after his Chechen adventure, and wants to rest for a while. Six months of counting your money must indeed be exhausting
June 15, 201114 yr isn't that a bit posh for the Shed End? No. :) Gullit is one of my all time favourites and it's really saddening to see him in a continuous freefall ever since he was sacked by Bates.
June 15, 201114 yr I'm personally waiting to see the spin BlueBeard will put on this  Love Ruud as a commentator, even as I haven't had the chance to watch him as a player and manager, in old footage he seems a top player and a top guy.
June 15, 201114 yr Sic transit gloria mundi. isn't that a bit posh for the Shed End? No. :) Don't you mean "Minime vero!" Undertow? I'd love to see Gullit at Chelsea in some capacity.
June 16, 201114 yr "Some capacity" being strictly in the club's hospitality system, please. Keep him away from anything having to do with managing or coaching! Unlike practically everybody else, I don't rate Gullit as a manager at all. In my view, he was just very lucky and reaping the benefits of Hoddle's hard work to improve the club's professionalism. The complete lack of success in managerial jobs post-Chelsea confirms that. But as a player.....ahhhh! I will go into hiding now.
June 16, 201114 yr Unlike practically everybody else, I don't rate Gullit as a manager at all. Is there anyone left who still rates him as a manager? I might argue that he simply lost his way and will a long time ago, but that still does not change the fact.
