Posted July 14, 201113 yr Not the easiest of games, because Portsmouth aren't that bad. It will be interesting to see what we can do and I've longed to see Chelsea play again so this game can't come soon enough. Do anyone know where it will be shown? Edited July 14, 201113 yr by The Moos
July 14, 201113 yr As far as I know it's only available live on Chelsea TV. Best thing is to check for streams nearer kickoff.
July 14, 201113 yr Is there anywhere I can bet on this? I'm not sure bookies normally bother do they?
July 15, 201113 yr Sorry guys, couldn't work out how to edit my post? Anyway, William Hill are taking bets. It's my sons first game, so I said I'd let him put a quid or two on who scores first, even though it's quite unpredictable in a friendly.
July 16, 201113 yr Looking forward to this tremendously. For a friendly, it should be a cracker, with atmosphere to match. From the pre-match build-up on the official site: Chelsea's allocation of just under 3,000 tickets has sold out for Saturday's game. Famed for its atmosphere, a near-full Fratton Park is bound to kick-start the pre-season campaign in style. 'We've sold nearly 15,000 tickets now, which for a pre-season friendly is lovely, it's perhaps a reflection of a renewed enthusiasm in Pompey. The fans have been brilliant really, all the way along,' says Mark Storey.(from the official Portsmouth FC site) LINK
July 16, 201113 yr I shall be leaving in about an hour, not too far for me on the train. Weather is a bit crap mind. I'd be happy to see Josh and Torres start today, it's going to be a big season for them. Come on the Chels.
July 16, 201113 yr Come on you blues!!!! Chelsea should let you buy stream games per match for games like this
July 16, 201113 yr Chelsea TV online is £5 for a month, and the three first matches will be streamed live.
July 16, 201113 yr Please delete the link if it is not allowed here moderators, but looks like we are actually going to see the game. Already number of links to streams here: Here Edited July 16, 201113 yr by evissy
July 16, 201113 yr I'm curious as to what our midfield will look like with Ramires and Essien unavailable.
July 16, 201113 yr Assuming Lampard is back I guess it should be ---------------Mikel------ ----Benayoun---Lampard---
July 16, 201113 yr IF you have problems getting into the chat, use the pop.out version thingie, the button next to the bell it worked for me.
July 16, 201113 yr Assuming Lampard is back I guess it should be ---------------Mikel------ ----Benayoun---Lampard--- Yeah, you're probably on the money with that. I'd imagine Villas-Boas will be looking to give gametime to a few players though, so hopefully we'll be seeing plenty of subs with the youngsters mixed in with the senior players.
July 16, 201113 yr Did anyone just see Josh walking next to jt in the build up on Chelsea tv? He looks RIDICULOUSLY skinny. I wonder how that will effect his chances at chelsea... Will be a shame if he doesn't bulk up as he definitely has the talent. Or am I over reacting? What are your thoughts?
