Chelsea TV

Featured Replies

I subscribed to Chelsea TV yesterday without really knowing anything about it (impulse). I’m guessing it covers interviews, pre-season friendly’s, matches, youth/academy, training ground insights… etc?

Either way I thought it was excellent value at only £6 per month and as it’s only us and MUTV that have their own channels I thought well worth supporting.

Are there any other Chelsea TV’ers out there that can appraise it for me pls…?

Ps TV’ers in this instance doesn’t mean transvestites – there are other forums for that ;-)

Does it show every game? EPL, CL, CC, FA-cup. For that money it would be a bargain..

Haha..I would only think transvestites use the short "TV" for trannies. Am I right?

You wont get live first team action, sorry!

You'll get live reserve match games and repeats of the first team League and cup games with Chelsea commentary.

Its not bad for £6, I had it for 2 years but i've recently cancelled it now that I have switched to Virgin with the Sky Sports packages.

I have had it for years. It is pretty good. You get all the interviews with the players and the blues news everyday can be good at times. The call in shows are ok as well. You cant see live first team games (unless its pre season) but that because of Sky owning the rights. The two female prestenters are quite fit.

Where do I subscribe?

Indeed :-), fit is mandatory...

If you're serious about subsribing direct call to Sky can sort it in a jif - 08442 414141 or 'Chelsea TV' on line

Are you totally sure there are none of those in here? I know Bluebeard used to drag up, but he doesn' come in here much these days. Moi is really a truck driver in a frock, and I have my doubts about some of the other posters as well.

Haha. okay. I will probably not take it if there is no live matches for 1st team. Sounded too good to be true. Plus I'm not a huge fan of biased commentary...

I've found it to be not biased in a bad way. Usually it seems quite honest and can be reasonably negative towards Chelsea (eg "we are playing slow and predictable. Time for the manager to make a sub").

Alison bender is fit, bumped into her at wembley once too when we played villa in the semi, actually looks much better in the flesh! Nice bum. Anyway... I have had Chelsea TV for a while and I would say it's worth it if u have time to watch it, blues news is awesome, basically sky sports news but just for Chelsea. I am considering stopping it to be completely honest as although £6/month is good for what u can potentially get I prob watch it for an average of 15 mins a week as just not enough hours in the day, not sure if I can continue to justify having it for that. Mind u I look at it as costing me the same as 2 pints a week which sounds nothing so might just keep it after all, haha....

I've had Chelsea TV for about 5 years now.

They are not allowed to show live PL or CL matched due to broadcasting rights. They show the PL match on the Sunday at midnight following the game and the CL match is shown at midnight the same night of the game.

There is live pre season matches and live reserves and youth matches throughout the season.

My favorite shows are Friday night live with Kerry Dixon and Jason Cundy where the weekend game is previewed and includes a phone in and PaperView where members of the press give their views about us as a club and the stories that have appeared in the press that week.

On CL games there is a live phone in following the match with Tommy Langley who for me, is a great studio pundit.

Have had it for couple of seasons now and watch it once in a while if I have some spare time. £6 a month is ok but if u r also attending some games, I suggest u to buy the Digital membership/International membership as u pay £30 for a season and have a membership to buy the tickets plus CTV for the whole season (Ticket olny is £25 so £5 extra for 12 month of CTV seems quite good to me) :)
