I don't know. I think its certainly better to face premiership teams to give our kids experience and also see how good they are. We had a good test last round which the kids in particular did really well, and now we'll see if they are ready for the next bigger test. Bring it on!

A good draw in terms of it being a worthwhile test for our younger players, especially as Everton have such a small squad and no European football meaning that they will likely field a near to full strength side.

On the flip side, I'd have loved a trip to a place we don't visit year in year out and somewhere we might have seen a goal fest.

United will certainly be one of of the 2 Sky games but will we be the second? I expect I'll go to this one but I'd expect a fairly small following, particularly if it is on Sky.

Everton have this nasty habit of raising their game whenever they play us, and an equally nasty habit of rolling over for Man U.

Ugh. Would've been nice to get Southampton or Palace, but oh well. Will be interesting to see how many youngsters get a run for this game. I want us to win every trophy, but if we lose due to giving the youth a run out, I feel like that is a good trade off.

It's been written that Roman has ordered AVB to play the kids in the League Cup. So I guess we'll see the same faces we saw against Everton?

Sure hope this is a tv match. But I could easily see Stoke-Liverpool and Arsenal-Bolton getting the nod.

I'm not sure I believe that, why would he order him to do that?

Can't take a trick with these League Cup draws can we? Seems we always draw someone harder than we'd like.

Also Hutch you're spot on about Everton lifting when they play us. It's bloody annoying.

toffee funs already rubbing their hands............but we know what to expect from them and we need to compete with their system and play our more expansive game and play it quickly - last year up there we were awful but my theory is the team knew carlo was on his way

there are decent well organised, hard working and strong team ethic

always enjoy the trip up there, in that lovely wooden stand
