I've been arguing it since the turn of the decade. Best Chelsea player of all time in my opinion. Hes been totally consistent for 10 years or so, at least at club level.

Good point Gem. I was thinking only about Chelsea and about how terribly unappreciated Chelsea players are for England.

But if you believe the press Lamps was going to be watching super captain Stevie Git and Scot Parker from the bench anyway.

Oh yeah Sned I don't doubt it would be great for us :) - a Summer's rest as you say after a long season would be ideal and you're right - none of our players are appreciated. I'd rather they told the National team to p*ss off... but none of them are quitters so that puts that to bed.

Will be kinda hard for people to blame Lampard when we exit if he's not on the pitch, I guess it'll be 1 of our other 3's fault then. Not Stevens, obviously.
