Beat Spurs and the dippers at Wembley, could it be sweeter, no it f**king couldn't.

Exacted revenge over Barca in the semis, they hit the woodwork 4 times, one for every f**king penalty Ovrebo didn't give, I make that.

We won the CL on the 19th day of the 5th month, you couldn't make it up, beating the Germans on penalties, in their own back yard.

Whatever we did to please Lady Luck, she certainly was very grateful, as she stood by us all the way, waving her plastic flag and her knickers in the air.

We took that last CL spot off Spurs. Oh my. How we cried. It could have been the beginning of a great era for them, and a sh*t one for us. Oh my. How we cried some more.

We brought ol' big ears back to London for the first time, and no-one, ever, can take that away from us. Have you ever won the European Cup? No you f**king haven't. Do you have a gold star above your badge? Er, I can't see one.

And lastly, and most importantly, this group were never going to get another chance, we were playing the Europa next season, it was over.

A good side that never wins the European Cup will only ever be a good side. Next time you see an Arsenal fan remind them.

Sh*t club no history? Tell it to the birds mate.

And all with someone at the helm who is Chelsea through and through, Robbie Di Matteo.

A great season? I should f**king coco.

I know Davey, it really is all quite incredible.

All just came together perfectly when it had to.

It would have been a travesty if players like Lampard, Terry and Drogba retired without a European cup.

Been awesome, hard to beleive the turnaround in 2 and a half months. Who would have thought it would be our greatest season ever 6 months ago. The Sp**s thrashing at Wembley etc is just incredible. Been smiling since Saturday night. Even Gary Neville could't take it, he had to ask Uefa and Fifa to 'STOP FOOTBALL'.

Yeah, it's been a very strange and yet wonderful season.

I mean, our run in the Champions League was truly amazing.

* Won the decisive game in the group stage 3-0 against Valencia.

* Lost 3-1 to Napoli and were heading out, but came back at home, winning 3-1 and making it 4-1 in extra time.

* Won against Barcelona without conceding a goal (few teams have done that).

* Was 2-0 down with 10 men (missing our leader) at Nou Camp. Most expected Barcelona to score for fun then, but we somehow made it 2-1 and then 2-2. Can't think of another time Barcelona have dropped that kind of lead, especially playing 11vs10.

* Was down a goal late in the final, got the equaliser. Conceded a penalty in extra time, saved it. Was down 2-0 and 3-1 in the shoot out, but scored three in a row whilst seeing Cech save the germans last two penalties - winning 4-3.

We've been agains the wall in CL and having no chance at winning so many times, but we've someone managed to crawl back and win. Never been so proud of the lads before.

And beating Spurs and Liverpool to win the FA Cup was very sweet as well.

It all makes up for the 6th place in the league.

What makes it even sweeter for me is all the sh*t talk I had to endure from friends who support Arsenal and Tottenham. Endless taunting about our league position, about Torres' form, about the defensive breakdowns, etc. Looking back on the evolution of their taunting is hilarious, I thank God that I have a smart phone which saves months worth of conversations. So many great quotes.

First we weren't even good enough to get out of the group stages. Then we'd never make it out of the round of 16 having gone down 3-1 to Napoli. Then we didn't have a chance in hell against Barca. Then there was no way we'd ever beat Bayern in their own stadium. Every taunt, every jeer, every insult has been, and will continue to be, paid back ten times over the course of the summer.

The irony is that I never heard a single negative comment from friends who support the Manchester clubs. They didn't try to rub any of our setbacks in my face like those who support the two sh*tty London clubs. By the time we made it past Benfica, they were actually supporting us to go all the way. The Liverpool fans I know were pretty quiet for obvious reasons.

Well said. Lets also not forget winning the FA Youth Cup again and the ladies are in their final this weekend.

'womens football ....do me a favour'.R.Keys.

Davey well said.

One of my Spuds mate has still got the hump today which is outstanding!! I'd sent him the picture of Tottenham Chanel 5 and within 2 minutes he was on the phone telling me we hadn't won the trophy properly to which I replied "Go & look in our trphy cabinet and you'll see it sitting their proudly, alongside the F.A Cup!!" Then I asked "What trophies were in the Spuds cabinet recently?" He had nothing to say!!

COYB piss on the Spuds!!

A few weeks ago, there were so many "maybes" we had to think about. Would we win at Wembley? Would we make it to Munich? Would Robbie's fate be sealed or secured? Would we overhaul Spuds and Newcastle? Would the squad have enough gas in them? Would this squad be jilted in Europe once more?

Reading what Davey said there, it really is the perfect way to end the season. We won the lot, screwed Spurs, and like he said We made history. For the first time in a while the uncertainty of the future doesnt bother me because it feels like we have made it, and our place among the elite is assured.

The uncertainty is fun now. It went from "oi we need ___________ for 50 MP or we're up sh*t's creek next year" to "let's see who's out there to add to our double-winning side". Now it's actually enjoyable reading transfer rumors and speculation with the sense of desperation excised. Next year we're looking to add to our trophy haul as opposed to desperately seeking trophies after a poor year.
