Is biting down hard on a fork by mistake, the most painfull experience ever??*,feck me, that smarts.

That's not the tricky question in mind though, but it's the one that I was asked over a curry, that caused the above mentioned fork incident in the first place!.

The question was: would I take all of last season's league failures & final place, the off-field aggro & the late season manager change etc, in exchange for the exact same succsess, (ie: winning the F.A. cup & the Champions League)?.

In other words,a total repeat of last season.

Afther checking the knashers for damage (they already have more chips than the local cafe) and with some serious thought..............for so many reasons,I said yes, I would.

Only once though, never again, but is it wrong??.

*(probably not if you have false teeth).

Standing on a plug with bare feet is more painful.

As for you`re question, I`m confused as hell by it.

don't mean to be picky but you're is short for "you are" I think you meant "your"

If it wins trophies, then I probably would take it, but much like yourself probably only once more.

And I think clashing shin on shin is more painful.

That does sound painfull & if I'd witnessed it, I would be an epic failure of my duty as a bloke, not to take the p*ss out of your misfortune!.

As for the question, simply put, would you settle for a poor league finish, loss of key players & manager, off the pitch turmoil for an F.A. cup & Champions League win?.

Didn't realize we were being graded? Feck me, perhaps I should carefully think grammatically before I post next time?

To make this post not a complete waste of effort and time for you all to read... I would do this every single season if we achieve the results we did... For the record, I much rather we do it more easier and maybe win the Prem while we are at it!

I wouldn't be happy, no. Considering the team we now have and could potentially get, that should be the least we expect. Performance wise at least anyway, I don't expect us to win the CL again.

Seems there are two topics going on.

Pain- most recent was an extraction of a molar. Injection didn't really take. Brought back some memories of dentists from the old days.

I loved winning the CL but what it proved to me was that it is a typical cup competition. A good dose of luck required to win it.

For me though every season, these days, is a failure if we don't win the league title. Only thing that really counts.

So in answer no I wouldn't want all that went on and off the pitch for the same cups.

Some of what went on really disappointed me and tbh has knocked the stuffing out of me to the point I am not that bothered as much about going and watching a bunch of... ooops wrong thread. :)

edited for gramatical purposes.
