So.. was there something you wanted to SAY about Ross Turnbull?

Not really.  The pompous flatulence in the Mikel thread was boring me. Thought poor old Ross needs some recognition too but not much to appreciate on-field so I guess off field will have to do.

Ross Turnbull also told Ashley Cole that he should give me his watch when I asked Cole for it.  He didn't but it was good to have Turnbull on my side.

See moi others may have appreciative things to say about Ross even if I don't. Surely you have something you would like to say about our goalie on the bench?

Will you look at that found something to be appreciative of on-field as well-

Look how happy he is.

There was a nice interview with Cech, Turnbull and Hilario a couple of seasons ago in the Guardian. You really get the impression there is a solid friendship between the three goalkeepers.

It also helps to appreciate the professionalism of backup players like Turnbull (every squad needs them) who rarely play but are always prepared to be thrown in at the deep end at a moment's notice.

i met Cech a few seasons ago before in a London hotel before an Arsenal match and he was absolutely miserable. He was with Hilario who i probably should have asked for a photo

Sounds like a good bloke, he always seems to look delighted when he's on the field, that is until someone beats him from 40 yards.
