Jeez if players think they're not getting enough rest as it is, now they have a tournament in the arab summer to look forward to..

I just don't see how this is any different to Champion League?

 

Besides being hosted in "neutral" venues won't it just be the same format as the Champions League with more or less same sides competing.

FIFA or UEFA cant do anything right if its a pre season tournament?

If it is true and not a hoax no way can i see it happening and no way would I want it to happen. Will devalue the domestic leagues and devalue the CL. Players and clubs always complain about too many fixtures as it is, a whole other tournament isn't really the solution is it

The only way FIFA would ever be reformed is if the billionaires floating around the Asian confederation stop buying into the existing corruption and realise they have the money and the power to start the whole she-bang from scratch.
