No, I must be confusing it with end of Episode 3. I watched them all in quick succession.

They're deviating more and more from the books.

does that aggrevate you & the people that read the books? It seems that the people creating the Television version of GOT have taken pages from Peter Jackson.

I always tried to view the series as an independent piece of creation, but damn,

 

I really wanted to see Arianne... Hopefully Connington, Young Griff, Sir Duck and Septa Lemore will show up later. Shortening the Meereen storyline is something I really don't mind, GRRM made some mistakes there. That awesome event in the arena is still on though, right? Would look majestic on the screen.

 

Well, this might as well have been a reply to Rob :) So no, I don't mind much. I can clearly see that it's not possible to remain 100% true to the books when adapting it to a different medium. Some things simply do not work out on TV and of course it tries to reach a different audience. Just missing some characters and events I liked and thought made the universe more colourful.

Pretty sure in the books Greyworm comes back and becomes so much better. On the other hand, they did say that characters would die in the series that didn't die in the books and that were would be shocks bigger than the Red Wedding so you never know. Not too sure on Selmy

I feel like the producers think the whole Young Griff/Aegon thing is too confusing for the non-book readers. I think Tyrion and Varys will go straight to Meereen without meeting them, unfortunately.

I'm quite sure that won't happen for a number of reasons:

- the Brienne storyline is already heavily modified

- they did not yet die in the books ;-)

- I think Lady Stoneheart is definitely out

I believe you're right, if I remember correctly they're not listed in the cast on imdb. My theory is that the roles of Young Griff and Arianne are being merged into Trystane and Myrcella

  From the stills I've seen of Trystane he does look much paler than the other Dornishmen, so that would make sense

You could tell John could understand why the guy was scared and felt sympathy. He had to do it. The Wall is really interesting at the moment.
