abramovich
http://www.itv-football.co.uk/Story/0,1 ... 70,00.html At this rate we'll be fielding reserves in the next league match.
Sofa Manager
At first glimpse it's bad news again. On a second thought - and while it's still one less important option - Mikel DID play for Nigeria yesterday, (read here) wich means that togheter with the return of JT to his post, and Essien back to his...could well be the chanche Mikel lacked to finally play at the spot where I think he can perform better: ........................Maka.......................... .........Essien..................Lampard......... .......................Mikel........................... loz
Agreed Sofa (I just can't call you Sofa - it makes you sound like something I enjoy sinking my buttocks on and that idea disturbs me!) that is definitely Mikel's best position. Also, if Ballack was to be missing for a couple of weeks or so, we may just see Diarra get a game or two in the Maka role. As well as he has done (relatively speaking) as a makeshift right back I would much prefer to see him being given a chance to play in the role he is most comfortable in. Just do it love... (Seriously, I can see where you're getting at. Ok. Call me Nando then) Also, if Ballack was to be missing for a couple of weeks or so, we may just see Diarra get a game or two in the Maka role. The Moos
Our list of injured players: Ballack Mikel (perhaps) Cole Cole Robben (day-to-day apparently) Bridge Boulahrouz Probably missed a few. Soon we'll have an entire line up on that list We really don't need this right now.
Oblivion
So how long is Bridge out? I heard that Boularouz is training again, so it shouldn't be long. God knows we need all the players we can get

yuliastar
Hmm I doubt Ballack even cares that he is injured.. He doesn't like he can be arsed to kick a ball sometimes! I definitely think is a blessing in disguise, as it will give some other players a chance to play... Ones that may actually care. However, the injuries are starting to really really worry me. Especially since Ferreira will now be playing LB... Praying for a swift Bridge return! I was really hoping he would get a nice long run of games to show Jose why he is so much better then Cashley (yes, I Still call him that).
Butch
What worries me about the Mikel Nigeria situation is that he, supposedly of course, played against the wishes of Jose. Don't know where that places him in Jose's eyes (if it was really the case). I just feel he has clearly improved over the past 3-4 games for us and is looking much more like the player we thought we signed. Cheers, Butch
Gem
I heard this injury would 'scare' Chelsea. Hardly the word I'd use at the moment. Although I'd be bloody terrified if it were Cech, JT, Ricky, Maka, Lamps, Ess or the Drogs
g3.7
you can really feel the love. this time, try visualising a giant picture of ballack's face, below these words. grinning, perhaps.

Mikel had played 4 of 5 games in a row. I think the boy is tired, especially after playing 90 min for Nigeria and losing 1-4. I think Kalou has more chances to start.!?
