Zola
Not too bad for Alan. I think he will be happy enough with that. Could have lost his job etc. He needs to sort himself out a little, getting a bit flappy recently. Edited March 11, 2014 by Zola

Valerie
Does that mean he won't be sharing his valuable insights into football during interviews either? That would be a welcome bonus.
Barn
I still can't believe people are referring to it as a headbutt, it was pathetic, he shouldn't have got involved but any Glaswegian would be embarrassed if they'd thrown that on a Friday night! Valerie
Perhaps he's a watered down Glaswegian nowadays. Oh the shame of his family!
Scott Harris
Harsh in my opinion. 7 game ban for leaning his head towards a player I've seen players and coaches do far worse. The whole thing was just a massive over reaction. You would think he had actually broken the players nose with how everyone was reacting to it. I'm not saying what he did was right but if he is going to get extended bans then so should anyone else who does these kind of things. Where in the rules does it say that managers should get harsher punishments than players ?

londonblue
Wasn't exactly a headbutt but still out of order. Hes a manager and should lead by example. 7 matches would usually be a severe punishment but this is not an isolated incident - Pardew has 'previous'
