Alan Pardew Given Seven Match Ban

Featured Replies

Not too bad for Alan. I think he will be happy enough with that.

Could have lost his job etc.

He needs to sort himself out a little, getting a bit flappy recently.

lucky boy not to have banned for the rest of the season. could have been whole lot worser for him and his own his final warning

I still can't believe people are referring to it as a headbutt, it was pathetic, he shouldn't have got involved but any Glaswegian would be embarrassed if they'd thrown that on a Friday night!

Harsh in my opinion. 7 game ban for leaning his head towards a player  I've seen players and coaches do far worse.

The whole thing was just a massive over reaction. You would think he had actually broken the players nose with how everyone was reacting to it.

I'm not saying what he did was right but if he is going to get extended bans then so should anyone else who does these kind of things. Where in the rules does it say that managers should get harsher punishments than players ?

Glasgow wants f all to do with him.

Agreed!

Wasn't exactly a headbutt but still out of order.

Hes a manager and should lead by example.

7 matches would usually be a severe punishment but this is not an isolated incident - Pardew has 'previous'
