Heard from a pretty good source today that Ross Barkley is on his way to Man City - would be a good replacement for Toure, but I think it's a year too soon for him as I think they wouldn't give him the opportunties to develop.

Terrible mistake for him if true. Look at Sinclair and Rodwell. Ok Barkley is a bit better than them but he will still struggle for game time like the others.

hope not, it'd be career suicide for him, he should stay at everton for a bit, united wouldnt have been a bad shout for him actually if he really wants to move but not city

Barkley will cost them over £30m going on what Shaw and Lallana cost, so who are they selling?

I'd love it if Toure left... With Suarez as good as gone from Liverpool that's two of our title rivals losing their best players for the new season.

I thought it was worth a bet.  He's been right before.

Sinclair knew full well he was going to be back up and in the games he did play he didn't do very well anyway and Rodwell is constantly injured.

Bad move for him if it comes off. Can't see him getting the property opportunities to develop there.

Agreed, he should look at what happened to Johnson, Sinclair and Rodwell there, although admittedly in Rodwell's case he is made of glass
