October 9, 201510 yr Anybody else think Stirling is in the team on rep not form? He's not looking that good so far... I'm always shocked to see Milner constantly picked, he's sh*t.
October 9, 201510 yr The team just looks dull, dull, dull. The England team often is.Players who deserve their spots: Walcott Bertrand Clyne Barkley Kane Smalling Hart Cahill Those who don't: Stirling Lallana Milner The question is, who replaces them? Edited October 9, 201510 yr by TheFunkeyGibbon
October 9, 201510 yr I'm always shocked to see Milner constantly picked, he's sh*t. He suits England perfectly, functional, basic, average.
October 9, 201510 yr Great skill and attempt by Barkley. Another player, like Stones, who will move onto a bigger team. Edited October 9, 201510 yr by MayosNoun
October 9, 201510 yr From the days of Scholes, Carrick, Lampard and Gerrard to players like Henderson, Milner and Lallana. Jesus. Ironically 3 Liverpool players.
October 9, 201510 yr If Sterling didn't have his pace, what else would he have ? From what i have seen of him he wouldn't have much else. His finishing is terrible, his crossing is average and he doesn't exactly beat defenders all that much.
October 9, 201510 yr It's so odd watching Kane. Because of Rooney I'd forgotten what it was like to have a forward who just stays up front...
October 9, 201510 yr Smalling has improved a lot this season but there is something about him that does my head in. He pushes players every single time, every time he closes players down he puts both hands out and pushes them, i don't really know how he keeps getting away with it really.
October 9, 201510 yr I like Barkley but far too often he looks for the foul rather than making the most of his position.
October 9, 201510 yr Hopefully Cahill is ok. The last thing we need right now is a bunch of injuries.
October 9, 201510 yr Oxlade-Chamberlain is a good player. Criminally underused. Edited October 9, 201510 yr by MayosNoun
October 9, 201510 yr Oxlade-Chamberlain is a good player. Criminally underused. I'm not so sure. Better than Stirling but suffers from the Arsenal disease of no end product.
October 9, 201510 yr There's no doubt he's stagnated big time at Arsenal. That's Wenger's fault. He has all the attributes to succeed - just rarely given a chance.
October 9, 201510 yr Great effort from Berkley! Wilshire should just relax with a B&H because he shouldn't be getting in this team any time soon.
October 9, 201510 yr Sterling runs like a pigeon. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] So true. 1-0 against Estonia is sh*t until you realise we've had to carry at least one passenger in Stirling.
October 9, 201510 yr f**king hell. Vardy deserved that goal more than Stirling. Two minutes on pitch and he's done more than the scorer has done in the other 80... [emoji34] Edited October 9, 201510 yr by TheFunkeyGibbon
October 9, 201510 yr I like this new generation England team and having now completed level 2 FA coaching badge I can see they are in the mold that the FA are trying to encourage. Trouble is I can't see them being great against the big fish. We seem to be missing some players that are good in a scrap. We need a tough midfielder I am not sure who As I type Sterling has scored .... I still don't rate him still. Barkley has looked great and Walcot but can they do it against say the Germans in a tournament ? I suppose we will only know come France
October 9, 201510 yr If we beat Lithuania next, we would have won every single one of our games. It's not been a hard group, but it's still pretty decent. It probably won't mean much when the Euro's begin though, we'll still probably fail to do anything good.
