Best time to arrive at a game?

You had to stand up briefly to let him out or take a 6 inch step backwards?

Did you complain to stewards?

My comment was a bit tongue-in-cheek but it was a tense match, he wanted to get past just as PSG were attacking and so obscured my view of that build up, and then again on the way back.  And he wasn't the first in the row to do so.  I just felt it was a bit much during such a big game to have my concentration interrupted.  Why can't people just watch the match for 45 minutes?

Considering the end of that match you're lucky he went then and didn't turn into a human sprinkler when Ba scored. :laugh2:

Anyway not sure why the guy who started the thread is getting called names. Everyone has a first game, so enjoy it. If you want to watch the build-up then get in 30 minutes before to see the guys warm-up. On Sunday I'd personally leave it to about 10 minutes before the kick-off.

Tonight though it's very much pub until 20 minutes before and then enjoy the light show/banners/singing/Champions League music....and there's no sodding alcohol on sale either I've just realised.

I have to confess I'm one of the annoying people who needs a piss during the game!!!! I love a few pints before the game and my bladder seems to be shrinking so I can't hold it. Sorry if ever I've squeezed past you beer queen!!!

Men and their pea-sized bladders!  I too like a few pints before the game but being a woman, am far better able to hold it in!  I'll try to be more tolerant.  But only to pissers, not to those choosing to go and get in the pie queue before half-time.

Same here. I try and time the loo visits so that I don't miss a minute of the match, but my bladder is not always as interested in football as the rest of my body.

Have been to a couple of rugby matches at Twickenham and the bars shut ten minutes before kick-off and then re-open 10 minutes after kick-off. You then see people going to and from the bar which means getting up from your seat. A bloody nuisance.

Have had the same seat in the MHU for 18 years. Before that I was in the old West Stand. Just along from where I sit there are two people who always arrive late. It's become a standing joke. Or should that be a seating joke!

Won't lie I often go to the toilet just before half time, sorry to have offended any one! In my defence I usually wait for a goal kick/stoppage in play so as to cause the least amount of disturbance.

The fact is that if you want to actually enjoy your beer at HT and go to the toilet you have to leave early.
