Interesting insight into conte on sunday supplement from one of the foreign journos mentioning how he believes he's better than mourinho and his knowledge and dedication/passion to the game is unrivalled. Dunno how true it is, but its interesting it was also said he could clash with the hierarchy because he is does come with baggage. However, i hate the sh*te these reporters keep coming out with that its an end of an era for us. We won the league last year and because terry could be leaving all of a sudden its the end of an era. Pathetic. Typical english journalism towards us.

It is the end of an era. JT is not only the last of that spine that brought us unparrallelled success, he's also the last of the pre-Roman era of Chelsea.

I'd go as far as to say he's the last bit of 'proper Chelsea' at this club because of our failure to bring through anyone else who is dyed in the wool. If that's not the end of an era, I'm not sure what is.

It's the same with every big English club mate.  Stories about Chelsea, Man Utd etc are good for business.  You have to worry when people STOP talking about you because it then means you're irrelevent.

I think the hierarchy will be more lenient. We saw how long they stuck with Mourinho towards the end when he would have been gone by the start of October any other time. As long as Conte doesn't have us fighting relegation we should be fine.

Oh, I see there is "an announcement looming" regarding  Jose' and his next appointment,
