RAWK Meltdown reacted to ShedEnder91 in Antonio Conte - Now Officially ManagerHe's a punt, but he also ticks a lot of boxes. We're a club without an identity at the moment and he seems to be capable of creating one whilst utilising existing assets.
I also agree that Pochettino might be a good shout because he's done something similar at Spurs, but the idea of giving Hiddink the job is the opposite of what we should be doing. If we're making a clean break from the Jose-era, and that seems unavoidable now, then Hiddink really isn't what's needed. He's a temporary splint, a half-measure when full-measures are needed. He's practically been in temporary retirement for a few years now and he's not a viable option for more than one season.

RAWK Meltdown got a reaction from Jezz in Jose Mourinho threadThat's right, blame the guy who won you 3 league titles and countless cups. The guy who made Chelsea a household name all over the world. The bloke who left behind a team that even Avram Grant managed to get to a CL final (where is he now?), he left behind a spine that won you the CL (where is Di Matteo now?)
Don't get angry with Jose just because he might join Man Utd. You lot sacked him TWICE. What's he supposed to do, never take a job in England again?
It's not like he is taking over Spurs or Arsenal.

RAWK Meltdown got a reaction from Juan Matas Beard in Jose Mourinho threadWe still need a lot of transfer activity.Outs: Carrick, Rooney, Jones or Rojo, Valencia, Young, Mata (maybe), Fellaini
Ins: A creative CM, a number 10, a striker, a winger, a CB.

RAWK Meltdown got a reaction from Beerqueen in Jose Mourinho threadHiddink isn't exactly getting much out of the current squad either.
Mourinho isn't perfect but there is something wrong at Chelsea behind the scenes IMO.
Or the players aren't as good as we all think and Mourinho got them playing much better than they actually are - exactly what Fergie did with some of our squads time and time again.

RAWK Meltdown reacted to Barry Bridges in Jose Mourinho threadCompletely agree and I would point to the last MUFC title win as evidence. Think the squad was fairly weak and had no business being in the top 3(IMO), yet they won the league by something like 14 points.
No way to ever prove it, but I suspect that squad would of struggled to keep pace with the top four had anyone other than SAF been in charge. OG was one of the leading scorers but thats the nature of the ebast when you have a top top manager, you collect points you dont really deserve but just damn well grab anyways because you dare not go into the dressing room without them.

RAWK Meltdown got a reaction from Juan Matas Beard in Jose Mourinho threadIf I could choose 2 realistic candidates to manage Utd it would be 1. Mourinho 2. Pochettino.
I am so excited by this news. Even if we get him for just 3 seasons, it will be longer than Moyes and Van Gaal have had
He is one of the best manager's in the world. His CV is exceptional. Please happen!

RAWK Meltdown got a reaction from GhostOfDembaPast in Following our ex`s...That's Van Gaal's fault in my opinion. Can you imagine how many goals Fergie would have got out of that lot?

RAWK Meltdown got a reaction from yorkleyblue in Jose Mourinho threadExactly. Moyes had 5 years to run on his contract and we gave him the boot.
Don't worry though Blues, you won't see Mourinho at Man Utd. Not whilst Sir Bobby Charlton has a say in the matter.

When Ian Dowie takes over and you get a stream of posts about Klopp saying "didn't want him anyway", it'll all be worth it.

I bet RAWK is an absolute goldmine for you right now.

I felt a bit empty today.

Neil Warnock would be the perfect fit, I feel.
