was going to say similar actually. If there's two things we love, it's a brazilian and an italian

Does that include Scolari?

Please dont say Cuadrado...................

Conte absolutely loves Cuadrado. It's believed that one of the main reasons that led to his tensions with the Juve board was that they were unwilling to spend the money to buy Cuadrado from Fiorentina.

Cuadrado has been in some decent form for Juventus and he's versatile enough to play in a number of formations.

But more than that, we already own him so if a new coach comes in and thinks he can use him then that's actually a good thing.

I hear all these good things about Conte and start feeling positive and then folk go and spoil it by saying he rates Cuadrado. f**k me, that changes everything!

It's becoming a no-win situation. Conte will come which will mean we offload Emenalo but he subsequently decides to build his team around Cuadrado. Feel like I've just lost a £20 note and found a £1 coin.

To be fair Mourinho was probably a factor in the performances of some players (in a good or in a bad way). Me too was thinking that Cuadrado looks a different player in Italy.

Cuadrado is a good player, if put in the right context.

Also, why does getting Conte mean offloading Emenalo? Conte wasn't responsible for transfers at Juve, so his acumen in the transfer market is completely untested.

Some reports are saying that Conte wants to bring Walter Sabatini with him as Sporting/Technical Director which means Emenalo would be replaced.

That reminds me I need to put the rubbish out for the bin men.

Conte doesn't call the shots, if he want's this job then he will do whatever Roman tells him like every other manager we have had.

Just the way it is.

Has the Cuadrado revisionism started already?

Christ.

Ha ha, FC`s nightmares are coming true....

We'll see. Maybe Roman wants success more than he wants yes-men agreeing with him. Honestly, I need to believe that he can learn from his mistakes.

As for Cuadrado, it's not revisionism to say he's been good either side of his stint here. If we own him and Conte fancies him then there's no reason not to give him a go. It's better than going for someone like Candreva isn't it and it's not like Pedro is much better.

Well history is against it, Roman hasn't changed and he isn't going to part ways with his team behind the scenes.

The man might not be popular with the fans but Roman clearly likes him and what he is doing for us.

It's pie in the sky thinking Roman will just move him out.

Also Pedro is far better than Cuadrado.

I don't think I have seen such a consistently poor footballer in my time following Chelsea as Cuadrado.

Salah was as bad I think. Pedro is a bit better and he's had a few decent games on the trot against some terrible opposition but he's not a massive upgrade as yet.

Agree with your other point but I'm hoping Roman does make changes. Maybe it's foolish but if you don't have hope then what's the point?

Both Salah and Cuadrado are doing well in Italy. They are not bad players, they are actually very good players. Do they fit Chelsea, probably not.

I think the quality in Italy is pretty poor tbh outside Juve.

I mean one of the better teams got pounded from Spurs over 2 legs with Sours missing Kane.

Cuadrado and Salah probably benefit from having the luxury of the lower intensity of that league where you get time on the ball. In our league they couldn't cope with the pace and often looked like they couldn't dribble a football.

if he comes in, and somehow manages to get the best out of cuadrado, fine.

but i still think cuadrado is crap. i honestly thought he would hit the ground running and do well here, but every time i saw him he actually didnt look like he could play football, which is a bit of an issue.

3 goals and 5 assists in 20 games for juve. so either italian football is absolute sh*te, or he just isnt suited to the english game. or mourinho's game.

i need a pint.

Conte will have wanted cuadrado to play as a wing back in his juve team. I don't think he will play with wing backs here, and there's no way he can rate cuadrado over hazard, willian, or pedro.

Fingers crossed anyway fc!

Saw Cuadrado against Bayern. Still crap, and still hits every single corner he takes into the first possible opposing player.

No thank you. Very much.

Do they fit Chelsea, probably not.

No probably about it.

The pair of them, without fail, were always our worst player when they were on the field.

£35m worth of complete jank.

Am not impressed with this, I will even take Ranieri over him.

Really? I am still skeptical but that article talked about him in pretty glowing terms, It would be hard NOT to be excited after reading that.
