My Grandad is a Chelsea supporter, Has been all his life and I was never really that interested in football but over the last few years he got me more interested. I live with him as my Mum is no longer with us, and my Dad left us when I was very young. We have a cat called Carl, and he hides when Chelsea are on TV as my Grandad screams when they score and it frightens him. I can sometimes speak with Carl better than with Grandad as he understands me more sometimes I think. Even though he's just a cat. Anyway, thanks for reading and I will pass on messages from my Grandad as he doesn't use the internet and doesn't like computers. Speak soon. x

Hello Karen.  I'm glad you have joined us.  We need more women and more cat lovers.  My cat Smudge always understands me - as long as I am feeding her or stroking her.  She seems to have selective hearing problems when I tell her not to scratch the sofa, however.

Thanks for the welcome, will soon get used to it here. I  suppose i'm grandad's full time carer, so i do like to escape online but one place i joined was horrible. Lots of trolls and i recently left that forum. Yep it can be hard with grandad, cooked him a cheese omelette earlier and he said 'it tasted like i'd vomited on it'. It's the sort of thing i have to put up with. sigh. Thanks again. xxx.

You sound like an angel to me!!  if anyone said that about my cooking, he;'d probably end up with the omelette on his head!  But I'm sure he knows you love him.  

 

This is a great forum. No need to be scared of anyone here. We do get the odd troll, but the mods swiftly deal with them.  There are lots of lovely people on here.  I'm sure you'll soon get to know lots of us.

Thanks moi. Does seem like a really well run forum. It's just when grandads grumpy he's a handful. I can handle him though. Carl hates him, but he has got the end of grandads slipper a few times when he gets under his feet. I know i'm making him sound horrible, but he isn't always like that, and we've only got each other.

I'll do what moi says. But Grandad did say he has nothing to say about Chelsea until next season now. But he is especially grumpy today.
