Great picture.

Much more grass on that pitch than there usually was on Derby’s old Baseball Ground.

Not long after the Cup Final when the pitch was a mess. Not surprising as it had been churned up during a horse jumping event.

Really sad news today of the passing of former Rangers, Scotland and Everton manager Walter Smith.

Here he is with Mark Hateley and Chris Woods, celebrating the Rangers title win in May 1991.

This was won  within weeks of Walter Smith becoming Rangers manager.
