No worries mate. Thanks for confirming that it was Sunderland. If it is Slim Jim in the picture picture would be taken between 1965-1967.  If 1967 that was a good year for Slim Jim as he played in Scotland's 3-2 win over England at Wembley.

A young Jim McLean. He started his playing career at Larkhall Thistle. His greatest moment was managing Dundee United when they won the title in Scotland. A brilliant old school manager who took no prisoners. Sadly passed away yesterday.

Jim's brother, Tommy was a fine player and a legend at Rangers.

Some fine players started their careers at Larkhall Thistle.
