Wouldn't be illogical to put a bid in, especially as Begovi? is as good as gone. I would personally love it if he came back. Thoughts?

Well, yeah but it's two years later now...he's 35 and I know keepers can play till they are 40 odd but there are signs that maybe he's not cut out to be first choice anymore. I could be wrong...but him as second choice, if he is happy with it, could be the perfect fit.

I cant see him coming back to sit on the bench personally. I think we'll go after a HG keeper to be understudy to Courtois, right now we dont need a brilliant number 2, unless something crazy happens in the summer and Courtois goes to Madrid, then we're going to need to replace him too which would be very daunting.

I agree. If he is happy to be second choice then I would be all for it - just can't see it personally.

He's still going to be number 1 at Arsenal and if that changes he will head to the next team down in London that would have him, probably West Ham. Furthermore with Terry now gone i think it's time we totally move forward into a new era, great times with these boys but we should be looking forward not back.

when you are sidelined in place of Ospina also bearing in mind that when he has played he hasn't looked too flash, I think the board made the right decision to let him go.

He'll return to Chelsea but not as a player. I don't see him ever wanting to be a number 2. He's doing the Emmanuel Petit bit with Arsenal.

Need to move on and he's not very good anymore.
