June 5, 20179 yr We were linked with him in January, not sure why the links have died down. The lad is extremely impressive. Looks like a Dani Alves in the making tbqh. Can dribble, has great pace, very solid defensively, can put in good crosses, great link up play, etc. We should be looking to get him especially as he's available for 35m apparently. Barcelona are even after him apparently. Perfect RWB for us, hypothetically speaking. Check him out here Edited June 5, 20179 yr by Barrettinator

June 6, 20179 yr The same reasons we'd want him are the same reasons Barca won't want to sell. A younger player would be nice but we could use a more polished and experienced player for the next couple of seasons

June 6, 20179 yr I prefer Cancelo as he's better in and around the opponents box but Semedo would be a good alternative.
June 6, 20179 yr I agree Semedo looks a top prospect but fwiw I don't think we need to be thinking long term at RWB - for me we only need to bring in a RWB to challenge Moses for a season or two (until next season when Dujon Sterling will be 19). Alves/Moses/Sterling + Alonso/Tierney for me. Edited June 6, 20179 yr by the special one
