April 10, 200717 yr harsh IMO- every season they are tipped to go down and they never do, and they keep losing their best players- saha, boa morte, malbranque... coleman never got the cash tigana did either. that said, lawrie sanchez could be good.
April 10, 200717 yr Fickle game an all that, only 3 seasons ago, coleman was promised the job for life
April 10, 200717 yr A shame for Coleman who I think is fairly genuine and likeable bloke. Decision is a bit harsh for the reasons G4 mentioned however I can see the logic. Fulham are on a slide and are looking at risk of dropping into the relegation zone. Maybe a change of manager will bring about that temporary change in fortune that it so often does (and all they need is a couple of wins to probably be safe)
April 10, 200717 yr Only just noticed the Lawrie Sanchez temporary role angle. Got to think the NI fans are not too happy with that development, if they stay up he will be a firm favourite to be offered the post and I would think he would be unlikely to reject it.
April 11, 200717 yr At long f**king last. Useless manager who likes to copy seemingly successful tactics without considering the players needed to execute it. And he only ever has nice things to say about other managers. Ponce.
April 11, 200717 yr bah. "copying tactics"... what nonsense. he's not a great manager, and will never improve much beyond what he is, but keeping fulham in the premiership year after year despite transfer money and shedding his best players is highly commendable.
April 11, 200717 yr Fulham sold Saha, Boa Morte and Malbranque. They can't have been cheap. So were did the money go?

April 11, 200717 yr Fulham sold Saha, Boa Morte and Malbranque. They can't have been cheap. So were did the money go? Electricity bills What a bright idea...
April 11, 200717 yr Coleman isn't half as bad as some people like to think. As Morientes isn't half as good as some gordons people like to think.
April 11, 200717 yr ...........man from head office says next year will be Wegners last year as Le Arse manager before stepping down and working on the youth system (ahem) Coleman is very highly thought of by le Arse and it was on the cards for him to go there in the summer. So Fulham sacked him before he jumped ship I reckon he will spend a year working alongside Wegner before taking over the next season
