Don't know much about the guy personally, but would like others opinion on him. Seems to have done a good job at Fulham lately. Has he got enough to step up to the plate at Chelsea?

He was at Chelsea 2001/2002, I remember he was pretty awful and a lot fans didn't take to him...when he left he admitted he hadn't done very well for us. At the time he was regarded by many as one of our worst ever signings.

However, there's no denying that as a manager he's done pretty well with Fulham, and plays attacking football too, which would be a nice change. Personally I find it difficult to get excited about the prospect, it's certainly a gamble given he has no experience at the level Chelsea are at, and no experience with the situations he'll find himself in with us.

I think he’s worth a gamble. He plays some fantastic attacking football, and he has been a success at wherever he’s been.

He was f*cking shocking for us as a player, but as a manager he seems to have it all. I’d definitely take him over Simeone, his football would be a breath of fresh air.

Fantastic coach imo and he’ll really show how good he is once he’s in premier league.

If we're going for pure entertainment value followed by an inevitable falling-out with the board then I'd probably still take a punt on Bielsa.

Funny feeling think we will end up with Joke- anovic (glimpse into future paper headlines ) suspect he gets on with RA - Serbian - Russian thing. Also we have tried two big names recently and for various reasons have turned out to be 'one- hit' wonders.

Didn't he also do really well at Watford? I seem to remember he got them promoted and was then ousted in favor of Quique Flores.

Maybe he could also tempt Ryan Sessegnon to make the switch to the blue side of SW6?

Wouldn't mind Mitrovic too, think he's very talented player.

This is exactly my take. If we go for another well-known manager, the same cycle that happened with Mourinho and Conte will most likely happen again.
