COnsidering the man said the team still need to work on their "offensive phase" in his last press conference it pretty much shows he knows what is wrong with the team atm and is willing to work on it I believe he's been saying that off and on for the last several weeks in his presser and yet we don't see anything different, which makes you wonder whether or not what they are doing in training and what they are doing in games are two different things.

January 4, 20197 yr Sarri in his next job interview We’ve had tremendous amount of possession, mostly at least 65%, dominating games. What about results Mr Sarri? Uh yeah, have you heard about Jorginho’s passing statistics! Results... Yeah, oh wait TIL you see Kepa’s distribution from the back!!!

All I can say is that Salah was total sh*te in a blue shirt, never ever showed any potential to be anything other than a slightly ineffective SWP. So far in hos career he has had ONE season of looking like a world-class player. Just the one. This season, as far as I have seen, he's doing alright, but not blowing teams away, so maybe he;s been found out a bit. De Bruyne was also pants for us, never showed anything in a blue shirt other than a single half in a pre-season friendly, but wasn't patient enough to wait his chances. I know that millions and millions of football experts in this forum KNEW, from when he was 3 that he was going to be a decent mid-fielder, and told us so at the time. Oh, wait, no, they didn't tell us at the time. There are hardly any posts from that time saying that KdB was going to be huge, if there were any at all. I can't be arsed to go scrolling back through, but a simple search on KdB and World-class returns no results. Anyone who tells you they knew then and said about it is either lying or confused. (I'm being generous with the "confused") So, if we could see the future, we'd all be lottery winners, every week.

OK, man of the match against relegation fodder who had just been promoted AND a decent half match in a pre-season friendly before that. AND I won't even mention the match-winning performance against the Barcelona of Wiltshire, the mighty Swindon Town FC. Seriously, a decent match and a half in a Chelsea shirt never, ever indicated what he might go on to become, and if you say that you saw it then, you are lying. That's all.

This topic has been discussed up and down for years but my stance is that it was clear De Bruyne was a top talent. He had just come back from a fantastic season in Germany(10 goals and 9 assists in 33 games) and was our best player on opening day of the season. Then he didn’t have a great game when we parked the bus at Old Trafford against a Moyes-team and he didn’t get many chances after that.
January 4, 20197 yr It’s totally irrelevant whether Chelsea fans saw any potential in KDB or not ... the point is that his potential was totally missed by the people being paid to judge talent and potential. Whoever signed KDB from us could see it so why didn’t any of our highly-paid staff notice it, particularly as they saw him in training and not in the occasional match. Salah was crap for us and I’m also not convinced about him anyway, but our handling of KDB was just poor ....
