Chelsea Women's 2023/24 Champions League campaign kicks off in the group stage. Here is everything you need to know about tomorrow's draw...

For Chelsea Women, the road to Bilbao starts now, as we enter this season's UEFA Women's Champions League at the group stage, hoping to improve on last term's semi-final appearance by going all the way to the final at San Mames on 25 May.

When and where is the draw?

The draw for the group stage of the 2023/24 Women’s Champions League group stage will be held at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday 20 October.

How can I follow the draw?

We will be bringing you live updates on Chelsea Women’s side of the draw on our official social media channels.

You can also watch the whole draw as it happens on UEFA’s official website, where it will be streamed live from midday (UK time).

When will the matches be played?

This season’s group stage will feature four groups of four teams, meaning each side will play six fixtures, three at home and three away.

The first games will be played in just under a month’s time, on Tuesday 14 November 2023, and the group stage will conclude on Wednesday 31 January 2024, when the top two teams from each group will progress to the quarter-finals.

The finalised fixture list for every team will be announced at 10am (UK time) on Saturday 21 October.

Who can Chelsea play in the group stage?

As Chelsea are England’s sole remaining representatives in this season’s Women’s Champions League, the rule preventing two teams from the same country facing each other at this stage does not affect our draw.

Chelsea are one of the top seeds in this year’s competition, as champions of one of Europe’s top four leagues, alongside Lyon, Bayern Munich and reigning holders Barcelona, meaning we enter the competition directly at this stage of the tournament and cannot face any of those other three seeded teams.

We will be paired with one team from each of the other three pots, with the absence of any other English clubs meaning there are no further restrictions on our draw.

Pot 1: Barcelona (Spain), Lyon (France), Bayern Munich (Germany), Chelsea (England)

Pot 2: Paris Saint-Germain (France), Slavia Prague (Czechia), Real Madrid (Spain), Rosengard (Sweden)

Pot 3: St. Polten (Austria), Benfica (Portugal), Hacken (Sweden), Roma (Italy)

Pot 4: A**x (Netherlands), Paris FC (France), Eintracht Frankfurt (Germany), Brann (Norway)

He was in fine form on Sunday. Could hear him from the other end of the pitch.

There was a point second half where he was just a mass of waving flags.

Indeed. He would move from one flight of steps to another.

There are shouts of here's Basil when he comes into the ground.

Sam Kerr, Fran Kirby and AK Berger all are out of contract in the summer, and are now said to be looking for new clubs because Emma is leaving.

Because its being reported that its down to Winstanley

I assumed that the English bidder was you buying me a Christmas gift?

If I had the money, I'd be bidding, cash goes to the British Legion too!

Maybe it’s @Boyne?
