    I suppose the complete and total absence of fans might be the perfect storm for them to push for this.

    Assuming it isn't baseless nonsense (and this is a big assumption) - some people truly don't have a soul.

    Perhaps the criteria for English clubs to join this Super League - and I hope the plan doesn't get off the ground  - is that only those clubs which have won the European Cup/Champions League are eligible. So no Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester City. Would mean that Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa could join. That would upset the lot from North London!
