Going there with half a team in-between a euro semi final was never going to be good Absolutely. Was saying to @Boyne earlier in the week, Thursday seems a bigger game to me and I can't remember ever feeling like that about an Old Firm fixture before
May 1, 20224 yr Terry wearing a Celtic scarf, what’s that all about? Honestly he must be pretty thick to be doing that. Disappointed.

May 1, 20224 yr Author Just before Sakala scored I was going to post about bringing on Lowry. Haven't seen much of him this season but by all accounts he's down well for the reserves. May still be worth bringing him on.
May 1, 20224 yr Had the chance to win it. Second half performance was really great. Roll on Thursday.
May 1, 20224 yr Author A much better performance from Rangers in the second-half and if Fashion had scored. A draw is obviously better for Septic bur roll on Thursday and what a night that will be at Ibrox. Rangers winning the Europa League would be brilliant for the club in its 150th year and good for Scottish clubs with European coefficients. Rangers fans were in good voice. Now for Chelsea. WATP
May 1, 20224 yr We're by far the better footballing team. We've only got ourselves to blame for silly dropped points. Add in some dubious refereeing decisions over the season. We've got half a team out through injury, just played 90 mins in Germany while they have a fully fit squad and weeks rest to prepare, yet we dominate most of the game, same as last weeks cup semi.

Agree, some silly dropped points this season and some dubious refereeing decisions. If VAR had been around. As you say, given the players out and a tough game in Germany a good performance. Gio has done a good job and if Rangers win the Scottish Cup and the Europa League it will be a good season. Am tempted to go out the final in Seville if they get there. Won't have a ticket but just for the atmosphere. Will then have to stagger back to London for the Chelsea v Leicester match the following night.

Tough game on Thursday first. Hopefully Roofe will be back

May even bump into some people I haven't seen for a while. Yes, hopefully Roofe will be fit for Thursday.
May 3, 20224 yr Author Sad news about Jimmy Bell who was the kit man at Rangers and has passed away at the age of 57. Worked at Rangers for over 30 years and was a legend. As with all clubs it is easy to think of and praise players, managers and boards - and indeed, even criticise them - but it's just as important to honour the backroom staff who keep clubs running smoothly. https://www.rangers.co.uk/article/jimmy-bell/71Y9scUTE9goBv3dPgOwpL RANGERS Football Club are today devastated to announce the death of our much-loved, legendary kit man, Jimmy Bell. Jimmy, who has served the club for over 30 years and been a friend and confidant to numerous generations of players and staff, will be so sadly missed by everyone at the Rangers Football Club. A former employee of Parks’ of Hamilton, Jimmy initially drove the Rangers team buses to matches across the country, before moving on to his current role as First Team Head of Kit. Rangers Chairman, Douglas Park, commented: “As a club, we are absolutely devastated to learn of the loss of our colleague and more importantly, our dear friend, Jimmy Bell. “Jimmy dedicated his life to Rangers Football Club. Having worked under managers from Graeme Souness through to Giovanni, he experienced some of the greatest days in our 150-year history. Of course, he was here during some of the lowest points, and showed selfless dedication, regardless of the challenge ahead of him. “Jimmy’s work ethic was second to none. He dedicated countless hours to preparation for each training session and game. No job was too big or too small for him, and he thrived on working for his boyhood club. “I spoke with Jimmy regularly, having known him from his time as a mechanic and bus driver at Park’s. He was excited for Thursday night’s game at Ibrox, particularly having experienced a European semi-final before under Walter Smith. “Rangers, and Scottish football as a whole, have lost a legend and a friend today. He was a family man, a devoted father, grandfather and husband. Jimmy will be sorely missed and I send our heartfelt condolences to the entire Bell family at this difficult time on behalf of Rangers Football Club.” Please respect the privacy of the Bell family at this difficult time. Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.
May 5, 20224 yr Author Big game tonight. Ibrox will be bouncing. Wish I could be there. Come on Rangers! WATP
