December 9, 20214 yr So many negatives from last night, not sure where to start but there are some nevers to list. Never want to see that f**king god awful kit again. Never want to see Saul appear in a CFC line up again. Never want to see a central midfield of Barkley and James again. I know some folk were calling for James to play midfield but it was a massive fail after he has been SO good playing right wing back and whipping in those crosses and scoring goals. We are clearly missing injured and fatigued players but ALL teams get those issues (look at the Dippers last season) so we just have to get on with it and overcome them. Think TT will have a better idea on players he can rely on moving forward. Fair play to Kepa for making some decent saves and yet he still conceded 3 and that third was saveable for a normal sized keeper with average arm length! And the Lukaku conundrum. He will score goals but you have to say we look a much better football team when he's not on the pitch. If only Havertz was more consistent. Would certainly start Pulicic ahead of CHO v Leeds as CHO blew yet another chance last night. KTBFFH...............!!

James had a mare no doubt about it, however he has all the tools to be an essien like midfielder for us so I wont write that off from happening so long as has better Midfielders alongside him and better defenders behind him. I mean they made even Dave look poor come on.

This was a great opportunity to give our backup option Kepa 90 minutes without a ton of risk. While Mendy may have saved that 3rd goal, Kepa did play well overall today. But the whole reason we are disappointed is because we conceeded that third goal. Kepa was at fault for that third goal, so we should have played Mendy.
December 18, 20214 yr We got lucky in the grand scheme of things. Hope we make use of it come February
