Gotta love when the defence turning around after the ball hits the back of the net to see. two completely unopposed players...

We were awful after the goal.. Just pissing about with the ball. They had so much space for that goal, no closing down whatsoever.

Kepa didn't get enough of a leap for me. If he had, he would have got a stronger hand to it.

Brief comments on the game

Draw is the most we deserved. A defeat wouldn't have been harsh.

Odoi - would struggle to make an impression against a Pauly (remember him?) coached U8s team. Surely nobody really believes he has a top flight career ahead of him anymore.

Lukaku - has a first touch that would get a member of the Royal family arrested after a Disney film premier

Christensen - I actually think he will make a good defender for another team if played regularly. He just isn't a player who came come in and out of a team and play well and he will never be a regular for us.

Werner - really hope this gives him the confidence he needs. He still looks utterly incapable of taking a player on but he was sharp for his second goal and great work in Lukaku's goal. You get the impression he needs to a bit more a nasty c**t.  I'd have him ahead of Lukaku just now.

Saul - even his mum thinks he is sh*t and she rated Carlton Palmer.

Lets be honest the disappearance of the defense is the problem here.  

We put 2 in against West Ham and lost.  We put 3 in against Zenit here and drew.  

 

The defense fell off the face of the earth.  

Why were we so caught out there at the back again there, massive space on our right. 

Tactically poor defensively tonight. 

Big team inevitable in the draw now. Tuchel has had a mare tonight.

Please please tell me why tuchel didn’t bring Rudi or silva on why?

Very poor, we never should have finished 2nd in this group. 

And there you go Tuchel...this is what happens when you f**k about...a better team at the back would have won that game...

It was a dead rubber for them and they still wanted it more, if it wasn't for Kepa then we lose convincingly

Awful defence and midfield tonight - got what we deserved. In fact you could say that we were actually lucky to get a draw on the balance of the 96 minutes ... 

Tuchel needs to fix this bleeding defence as soon as possible. Sure we didn't play many of our starting defenders but the defenders playing tonight could have done better. Kante being missing might very well be starting to catch up to us.
