Can we cancel Saul's loan? I would just give his minutes to a youngster at this point. He was supposed to be pretty decent as a LB at Atletico, but he looked like complete garbage tonight.

Thanks goodness we only loaned Saul in as opposed to spending 40 million pounds on him last summer.

I don’t think Saul was the worst of the first half lot. He did okis, though I guess the expectation was below zero.

Did anyone else notice that Alonso had tons of space on the left but no one sent him the ball?

It is really one of the most curious loan/transfers I can remember where a relatively competent player for a big La Liga team turned into absolute trash (like legit, shouldn't be even starting for a third tier team in England). So weird
