Off to the game tomorrow. Will start with a large breakfast at the cafe owned by one of my sisters. Will take a hip flask filled with single malt whisky in case it's cold. Just need to decide which whisky.

As established I will be starting with a large breakfast at Fat Boys and will smuggle in a bottle of Pepsi/Coke complete with bottle top because I’ve essentially given up Mr Booze.

Either that or they could’ve got you on the pitch with a lighter and a can of WD-40!

A couple of mugs of coffee from Fatboys would have defrosted it and the surrounding area.

I was going to say that, at least you and @Boyne got a hot meal!

Arrived at the ground a few minutes late due to delays on the train. Just as I arrived at the ground I saw people leaving and heard about the state of the pitch. @Munkworth as you mentioned could have sent down heaters last night.

Walked to New Malden for a train back to Waterloo and was told at the station that there were no trains due to a fatality. So it was a bus to Wimbledon and then the District Line. Now on the train home. Will pop in to my local pub for a couple of pints.

The breakfast at my sister's cafe was superb. Am still full from eating it.

KTBFFH.

Should have bn played at Stamford Bridge. This time of year they should be IMO.

Our women's side deserve a better ground than Kingsmeadow. Whether that means they get to move in to the Bridge, as well as Cobham for training should be mentioned too, or we buy Kingsmeadow, give a life time lease to their current owners, and invest in making it in to a quality stadium.

Hopefully this is a wake up call for our owners.

I was under the impression that TB does want to invest heavily in the women's team. That said they have also said they like their home comforts as well. Further development of Kingsmeadow for the women and the Dev team could be good though.

They train at Cobham already ax!

Not to mention Chelsea already own Kingsmeadow and the only other teams that use are the youth teams. :laugh2:

I like Kingsmeadow, it’s a proper football ground and it feels like ‘home’ when watching the women’s team. It just needs some serious investment!

Huh, I read an atricle last year where Todd visited both the stadium and where they train and felt both were poor quality as they basically only recently got a working kitchen.

Was there not a none league men's team that owned that place and played there?
