August 18, 20232 yr I heard rumours that Pep was interested in him. https://www.footballfancast.com/chelsea-man-city-premier-league-jeremy-doku-transfer-news-updates/ Another one for @BordeauxBlue to cast some light on. If we were to make a move hopefully the Belgian connection would work in our favour.

If we were to make a move hopefully the Belgian connection would work in our favour. Him being Belgian and one of our hot prospects made me follow him. He has a lot of potential. His biggest assets are his explosiveness and dribble. He has an insane burst from standing still. Biggest working points would be overview and efficieny. Although you can train on that. What really is my biggest worry (if we would be interested) is how injury prone he is. If you think Reece has a bad track record. Doku is way worse. Especially as he is an explosive player. If you can have him injury free half a season,... that would already be a win and with Chelsea's injury track record the last seasons... a big worry.

August 22, 20232 yr Yep, City's for 55.4 million. I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that he will be twice the player any of our wingers are in the not distant future.
August 24, 20232 yr @Amputechture. Not sure it’s funny. Just a likelihood that City’s staff will have identified a good player and that given time, if necessary, Pep and his staff will make him a good player in their setup. It really is difficult to envisage Mudryk or Muduake becoming top class players, especially at Dysfunctional FC. Mind, I don’t even think City could make something out of Mudryk.

Well it certainly wouldn't be funny if he actually does end up better than all of our wingers. That hasn't happened though and unless it does I'm choosing to believe otherwise.
