He's one of those inside forwards who can dazzle at Championship level with tricks galore. Also capable of some absolute stinkers when he simply loses the ball and gives up. I don't think he offers any more than what we already have.

Meslier? Defines inconsistency. Worldie saves interspersed with howling blunders. Strange.

Hard pass on both for me ... particularly Meslier, who was comfortably in the bottom two GKs in the PL last season, and has "improved" slightly in the Championship, in the sense that only 18 Championship keepers are now ahead of him in the save percentage stats and only 19 ahead of him in the post-shot expected goals per 90. Other than that, terrific keeper LOL 🙂

A bit underwhelming, but I can’t say that I have watched Leeds all that much. At least he’s a left winger with an eye for goal, who might be available at a decent price. I’ve got so little trust in our SD’s just looking at the right kind of profile is a win for me 🙂

I don't disagree but he's another one of these keepers that for some reason has developed this reputation of being a ball playing keeper, even though there is little evidence to support this. Perhaps picked up by lazy journos during Bielsa's reign. Would not surprise me to see us suddenly linked.

Meslier seems somehow to escape a lot of criticism. Not sure why. He's something like 6'6" but terrible under a high ball. He's capable of worldie saves. Maybe that's what folks remember.

Aye true. I used to always moan that we should purchase players a year or two earlier to save us getting rinsed by middle men like Brighton. Can't grumble if that's what we're now doing. Just have to give the players a year or two to settle in.
