We have Lavia Caicedo and enzo, not sure they will all fit in the same team but all worth big money

Who loses out?

Thoughts?

Agreed I think all will get plenty of games .. midfield 4 of Enzo Lavia KDH Caicedo will play plenty of games for the 3 positions.

On the forwards/Attack we have Sterling Madueke Nkunku Jackson Mudryk Palmer Guiu and Carney is where we will see a lot of competition. I see Guiu and Carney as back up with the other 6 rotating for 3 positions

In defence I see 8 defenders for 4 positions plus Veiga

on the whole we have a big squad but not enough top quality in a few positions.. but we really don’t have any places for new signings unless we loan out people.

2 LBs, 2RBs, 5 CBs + Veiga not counting the ostracised Chalobah & Acheampong. That number needs to 7 or max 8.

Nobody will lose out. We have so many games that there is easily enough room for all 3.

I reckon his question was along the line of we won’t be starting the 3 of Enzo, Caicedo & Lavia together under Maresca. I think one of them will be on the bench. You can’t play a DM, Deep Lying Playmaker & a box2box mid together in a progressive team. Still don’t understand what the SDs were trying to do last summer.

I think we also need to consider that Nkunku and Palmer are probably going to perform best as part of the midfield. I expect against City to see Lavia, Caicedo, Nkunku in midfield. Sterling, Jackon, Palmer up top.

I agree with both of you...it seems our most stable setup atm.

Lavia, caicedo and nkunku (8)

Palmer Jackson and sterling up front. I have a feeling sterling will shine in this system but will still fk up a lot with his final shot, he'll need a lot of chances which he may get in this system.

But I'd also like to see a setup with guiu ahead of Jackson with palmer and sterling either side. So only 2 in midfield.

I think that would be a really potent attack with great link up play.

I think he will tinker a lot early on, mixing between the 3. I think it will be Enzo and Lavia competing the most though, I can't see Caicedo being rotated much.
