I think we need to think of the positive things in the squad

now before the owners come in we had players like Havertz that we were mostly sick of and I know he’s doing ok at Arsenal

zyech / pulisic / Jorginho that I don’t remember any one being a fans of and there was others it wasn’t the Terry lamps team or the hazard Costa team

mount couldn’t be arsed his last year he used us and jumped to them and if anyone has seen the video with his dad in the changing rooms it’s clear he’s a tosser

so we moved on a lot of dead wood

now Poch apart from spurs away he was crap to Christmas he improved when Enzo ( who I don’t rate ) got injured then stumbled on Gallagher playing in the  two with Caicedo he got lucky i personally like Gallagher in that position as he isn’t a great 10

plus he had Palmer save him time as time again

so let’s think positive if we add Osimhen no one can say we don’t have so many great attacking options

as for the manager I haven’t a clue but he gives off a confidence in his interviews so let’s give him 3-4 months before we say he’s crap

Neil, i have a lot of respect for you but this shouldnt be your first post ! You need to present yourself in the newbie section. And look around the forum, theres plenty of threads to share your thoughts.

Also, how can we be positive if we still have the same owners as yesterday ?

I didn’t know  I wasn’t allowed to start a post as I’m new to the site at posting I have been a member for sometime so maybe I should have known

so I understand better who is allowed to start new posts  ?

as for the owners to reply to you if ok? No one is Roman but to be fair they have spent a few quid and got rid of a lot just picking up a wage

I think it is okay to start posting without introducing yourself... maybe. Don't really know the rules.

Anyway I like the idea of positivism.

Young exciting squad with a new driven coach. Problem is the fans are old. We are deadwood. f**king hell... Let's cut ourselves loose and bring in new exciting ones from Brazil and give them long contracts and small wages.

Anyway I like a lot what the new owners and directors are doing. Some decisions they make, make no sense but I am not an insider so I don't know why some of the things were done like they were.

Hopefully we are progressing this season to a track that is visible and looks good. No need to win trophies, just a vision of a more positive future.

You're fine to start posts mate! No idea what others are banging on about. Starting new posts keeps things from going stale.

Welcome to the forum.

I can think of a certain poster on here that would disagree...

Post away mate

Great post mate! I have similar feelings. Sure, the owners are radical and should have been more patient but it's ambitious. We have really good players. Even Gary Neville, who hates us, has us finishing 4th. Chelsea will be a major force again, next season at the latest. I want to believe that. It's impossible we won't create chances with the players we got. Caicedo/Lavia have potential to be a great pivot as well. Have no idea how to use Enzo. It lately seems to me he's basically a slower Bruno Fernandes, without an eye for goal.

Now there are some glaring problems and mistakes (first buying then moving on the likes of Chukwuemeka, pushing out English players who wanted to play for the club) but it seems every transfer window and change proximises us to realizing the granf vision of Eghbali and Clearlake (i'm not sure Boehly has much say? but what do I know). Will it be worth it - is the question.

The chaos, the transfers and even sometimes the way we play - it's all (sometimes) exciting to me. But even I wonder - wouldn't we be better off just having the last year's squad, Pochettino and adding experienced goalkeeper (26 upwards), centre back and striker? You know, like 3 transfers, instead of 15 lol

But I guess that's the business model
