August 22, 200717 yr I think Russia have a great chance against England. England have a team of very good players (mostly), but they don't play together as a team - and Steve McClaren doesn't have the ability or know-how to rectify this. Plus, McClaren picks players on reputation rather than current form, and though this has been shown not to work, he won't change - the blokes a w*nker The Germany game tonight is only a friendly, but having said that, England v Germany games are rarely played like other friendlies. Also, it's England's first game at the new Wembley so there'll be an extra edge to the match. Both teams are missing quite a few first choice players, which could go in England's favour, as the English first choice players are generally sh*te (apart from the Chelsea players of course!) this was written from a totally unbiased point of view

However tonight and every night england play really im on lamps watch, Im willing him on to really put in a top performance and shut the natiotn know it all's up!! Every fan i seem to meet goes on about how frank ruins it for stievie me!! How quickly they forget and how easily the have the minds influenced by the medjia!! 2 years running frank was more or less the only attacking force really doing any work in the england team. And yes he has been poor this last year for england but when you look next to him i cant even think of two games running where captian run around alot has been a force!

Every fan i seem to meet goes on about how frank ruins it for stievie me!! yeah I hear that all the time aswell. frank stops gerrard playing well. yet frank doesn't play well because he's crap. and no one remembers gerrard being useless alongside scholes. it also makes a mockery of the idea that gerrard is good at being the defensive midfielder. another thing that annoys me is that apparently lampard plays just behind drogba for us, and is lazy. it's insane.

Pirlo is a genius... Del Piero can't shoot.. Toni is as graceful as Jan Koller and nothing has really changed!!

Easiest way to tell a good keeper from a bad, and the easier way to tell a good manager from a bad is the inclusion of, EVEN AFTER HALF TIME, Ambrosini and robinson. We have just gone 1 up thanks to a comedic pass that went into the net...
